Pretty small beach that's very close to the mansions of Newport. I grew up in California so I'm used to Pacific beaches that... seem to go on forever. This beach is fairly small as it's flanked by peninsulas covered by homes. As far as I could see, thisbeach only has paid parking. Not a beach for look for shells as it is picked clean. Not much plant matter and no shade. Sand iscomfortable to walk on barefoot but not so soft that it is difficult to wash off. No offensive smells (some beaches smell likeputrid seaweed on the West Coast.) Read more

super busy area, parking is $25, beautiful beach, nice walk up on the cliff, lots of surfing! really smart birds that will pick... up a clam shell off the beach, fly away with it, and then drop it to crack the shell to have a nice little lunch. who knew! Read more
