You don?t answer your phone. Staff said there is NO phone. Why have a number listed? I wait in the drive thru to get sandwiches... for 6 hard working roofer, after 7 minutes no one answered. Had to back up three cars. Go inside, there is one 12? white breadand one 6? white bread left. Nothing else! Why even opening if you can?t make a sandwich or answer a phone! Read more
While the sandwiches were excellent, the exercise in getting the 6" free sandwich was most discerning. The manager has to tell... the employees about the specials online, or the employees cannot honor the special. Thanks to Tyler, who took on the role ofmanager when the actual manager couldn't be reached, we received the special, online sandwich. The actual manager had not doneher due diligence in briefing the employees, therefore making a simple request into a "big deal". Read more
Both service and food leave something to be desired. The employee who took my order was rude and clueless. He had no idea what... kind of sandwich I wanted when I told him roasted chicken breast, and proceeded to list off the other kinds of chicken they had.I said I just wanted roasted chicken breast, like I had been getting at Subway for years. "Well, we don't have it" he snapped.Being surprised, I said, "wow, really?" He said, "yes, REALLY, ma'am" in a snarky tone. I guess chicken breast sandwiches werediscontinued. But he didn't mention that, and wasn't in the slightest apologetic about my disappointment. So then I ordered achicken bacon ranch, which wasn't what I got at all. It was just some cold, flavorless chunks of chicken and ranch, globbed onthe sandwich so thick that it made a huge mess. No bacon. They had no bread except for white, and no olives. It was the worstsandwich I've ever had. One of my daughters, who was with me, got sick after eating hers. This Subway has been going downhillfor a couple of years. This is literally the worst subway you could possibly go to. I live a mile away from this subway, and I drive past this subway... and all the way to Waldport half an hour away just to get a good sandwich. If you want subway, let me re-direct you to a greatexperience at the WALDPORT Subway. This subway in Newport is disgusting, they are out of bread, meat, cheese, sauces, andveggies constantly. The staff make you feel like they want you to leave right as you walk in. Last time my sandwich had so muchsauce on it, it leaked out of the sandwich all over the bread so much that the toasted bread was then cold and soggy. While mygirlfriend's sandwich actually fell apart in the bag because the worked left the sandwich open faced instead of trying to shutthe sandwich, when he wrapped it was done so poorly the whole sandwich was falling out of it and flared out on the sides. Andthe workers are flirting in front of you with hickeys on their necks... super uncomfortable. Read more
It was okay. Even though the customer service was super great and I know they had been busy that day. The only thing that kept... them from 5 stars is the dining area needed to be cleaned really well. It looked as if it wasn't touched for a few hours. Mykids and I still sat down and ate and enjoyed ourselves. Like I said the only thing whether your super busy or not, you have gotto at least take turns cleaning the seating area. Do not go to this Subway ever!!!! Tried this location again a year later and it?s still horrible. They only had one person... working on a Sunday midday in the summer at the coast. It should be obvious to management that more staff is needed during theweekend. Plus, knowing there?s a baseball tournament in town! No fault on the worker, he was doing his best with what hehad. They had no mayonnaise, lettuce was brown and the bread was under cooked. The customer before us was going to pay with cashjust to find out that they don?t take cash. He did not have card. He was able to keep his sandwich because he said ?you?re justgoing to throw that away?? There was no sign posted to let customers know about a no cash policy! Unacceptable!! The staff is friendly and helpful. They took care of our special requested sub sandwich. All's good here! We ate inside because... the double meatball foot long sandwich was big and messy. It sure was great eating. We talked about going to subway for thelongest time and have the meatball sandwich. Now, I'm seating in Subway and the female staff member was singing, "like avirgin". So third time my online order came out WRONG at this location! Can anyone here read an order or am I being punked? When I went... to pick it up I was the only one there, not like you were swamped.
