I came in with a party of six people, wherein everyone ordered food on separate checks besides my husband & I; everything was... going great until we got our checks at the end of the meal, where the staff added their own tips to everyone's bills. I ambeyond furious because we had come a couple days prior, same amount of people, and didn't notice that they did the exact samething and I had added an additional 15% tip, and nobody informed us. The food was great, the service was okay, but unless youwant additional money taken from you without your knowledge, then I do NOT recommend dining here. Read more
This is one of my favorite places to go for 5 years! Best sushi in town hands down! They’re servers are always so friendly to... my 2 children. even when my youngest child had a melt down in the restaurant they were very understanding. This place is 5/5 inmy opinion. I ordered using the online ordering system and it was pretty easy. I like how they had some pictures that's always helpful when... ordering from a new place. I ordered the 2 rolls for $12 and it was a perfect lunch with the miso soup. The soup is soflavorful! I didn't really like the eel sauce it was runny like soy sauce, I have tasted better. Overall though it's a goodplace for sushi. I like how they text you once your order is ready. Read more
Excellent spot for top notch sushi in Newport. Very friendly servers, excellent open kitchen, and full selection of sushi,... teriyaki, and noodle dishes. Bento specials are a great way to sample the menu. Read more
My girlfriend and I had a very pleasant experience here. They are one of the few places offering dining in and they have... procedures in place for social distancing/covid. Anyhow, I got the two roll lunch special with cucumber salad and miso soup; shegot a specialty roll and a poke salad. The waitress was super friendly and nice. The food was all super tasty and aside from onesmall mishap (one of our rolls got sent to the wrong table), it was a great experience. Would recommend and will definitely beback again! Read more
Slow all you can eat service. Kind staff. Clean restaurant. I would certainly come back if I didn’t do all you can eat. Very... good quality and time spent creating each roll. A lot of people order to go, didn’t see one person wait the entire time. Allyou can eat has a great selection, however they prioritize other tables over you. This is rather shocking when you haverestricted food amounts (for instance 2-4 people is 6 items total per order). In our experience there were two other tables inthe restaurant, 4 adults/2 infants at one and the other was 5 adults that turned into 7. Our table was 3 adults. Staff was 2servers and 2 cooks, though it was noon so maybe some were on break. We were told our order would be made after the other twotables, but when a couple came in 20 minutes into their prep, their order was also prioritized over ours. It was hard to seethem get appetizers when we also ordered them, and the staff clearly avoided our table. In addition to their soup, the couplegot 2 rolls and a bunch of nigiri, they were in for about an hour, so for a normal order it may be totally worth it. We got ourfood 10 minutes before they left. We waited about 80 minutes to be served our 6 items. Our second round took about 30 minutesbut we were the only ones left in the restaurant. Read more
Every time I eat here I definitely leave feeling like it was a below average experience. I do a lot of takeout and it's usually... soggy and cold. The rolls are small and they seem stingy with the filling. Read more
