I couldn't tell you how many times I've taken on a 1 hour drive from Corvallis just to stop by and get a Gyro from this place.... It's absolutely outstanding. Our servers there have always been over the top with their service and today again we had a youngerfella that was extremely attentive to our needs and very nice. Exquisite fine Mediterranean food experience! We had lamb kebab platter, lamb gyro, a side Greek salad, coffee and baklava.... Everything is phenomenally fresh, tasty, and in generous servings. Friendly service staff, clean and fun environment with gypsyking music in the background, a YouTube channel playing authentic cooking over cooking fires. We visited Newport and stoppedhere for a late lunch around 3pm and the place was hopping but not overly crowded, and the service didn't suffer at all. Lovedthe experience. Been here a few time and love the food! It's extremely tasty and definitely made fresh. The owner is very nice and the staff... too! The only reason I am marking it as a 4 instead of a 5 is that the food is decently pricey and takes a while to come, butit's worth the wait! Got lamb gyro and fries to go. It definitely seems to be more a sit-diwn restaurant, but they got my order pretty quick. Gyro... was pretty good, though fries were a little underdone and soggy when I got to them. Overall, I'd try them again if I had thetime to sit but not impressed on takeout. This was genuinely one of the most incredible meals I have ever had the pleasure of consuming. I could not be more pleased. My... expectations were exceeded!!!!!! I loved it!!! I highly recommend this place! We tried it on a whim during a visit to Newport, it's a hidden gem. The food was delicious, very... reasonably priced, and came out quick.
