We live close and go regularly. Absolutely thrilled that a really good Indian restaurant opened up here. We like our food... spicy and I love their level 5 chicken curry. He always gets the tiki masala with green peppers and onions with the highestspice level. Both were very good today but honestly His was awesome! I don?t always try because there is a spice in that dishI do not love. I am glad I tried it today though as the spice level was awesome and the green pepper and onion adds so much tothis dish! I love the naan bread and bhaturra bread- far more then I should :) We both look forward to the buffet so we cantry the other flavors? we love what we get here so it?s hard to switch it up. First time at Jot after it was recommended by a coworker, and I wasn't disappointed whatsoever. Ordered was Chicken Vindaloo,... Special Chicken Tikka Masala (recommended by our server), and garlic nan. The vindaloo was spice level 4 of 6, chicken wasjuicy, potatoes well cooked, and the spices were all in "Harmony". Special Tikka equally as delicious, I've never had Tikkaprepared like that before, onions, bell peppers, with a lemon wedge. Can't go wrong with garlic nan. Everything was delicious,and the "lunch" portions were generous. Our server was very polite, and patient. Our cups were never empty, and he gave a greatrecommendation (Special Chicken Tikka Masala). The restaurant itself is very clean and bright. A great experience all around. Iexpect to be frequent Jot often, and will be bringing more people. 5 out of 5 all day! Read more
Hidden Newport gem! First thing to note is that everyone was really nice. My waiter did a great job. I like some heat in my... food, and the spice level was perfect, which is not always the case at other Indian restaurants. The chicken tikka masala is mygo to, and it was one of the best I have had in a while. I could not get enough. To boot, the garlic naan bread was cookedperfectly with good flavor and was ever so slightly crispy. Perfect if you need some calories after the gym, or just somedelicious Indian cuisine. Read more
1st time here. Carryout only. Very good flavor. Afforable. Quick and friendly service. I got a 3 spiciness on mine; out of.6.... [Was still kinda hot fr imo] I ordered the Chicken Biriyani and Paneer Bahtura. The sauce for.the Biryani is perfect. [Theyseran wrap the sauce because they CARE] The paneer was more KRONCHY than most. [Kinda prefer it] . Will be back. Read more
I've been to many different similar restaurants, and this one is definitely in my top 3. Restaurant is new, so its really clean.... The staff are super friendly and are happy to help. I got the assorted vegetarian platter, and the ingredients and spices were aperfect mix. My main dish was the Mattar Paneer at a spice level 2, and while it was one of the more bland servings I've everhad, it was delicious, and I will for sure be ordering it again. Its a small restaurant that just opened fairly recently, butthey are definitely worth visiting if you're in the area. Read more
Great restaurant, super-friendly service! I tried Chana masala, and Chicken makhani and both the dishes were tasty, especially... the chana masala. I liked the Batura as well, it wasn't oily at all. The Chach(salted lassi) was the best I have had in thestates so far. Definitely will be going back to try other dishes. Read more
Amazing food, service and people! This place is the nicest and cleanest Indian restaurant in he Cincinnati and NKY. No other... Indian restaurant can top this place. The place caters to all your dietary needs if you just ask them, they will even try tomake you an off the menu item if they aren?t too busy. Read more
