we have been waiting for an hour and we only have drinks. the gru iced coffee is pretty good. they are trying their best which I... respect. passing review to my friend who brought me here they only have one cook :( every time I've come here the order isalways perfect no matter what I specify but the wait is always an issue. overall 7/10 just for the wait. Everything is clean. Just needs to be managed better, the entire place is run by 5 people, all of whom move carefully. Read more
Service was really slow but I think it was literally only the waitress and probably only one cook. I was with a group of 8 and... there were two other tables with 5+ so I know the poor girl was doing the best she could. The food was good. No complaints fromanyone. She was friendly, took the workload like a champ. They need to find a way to get more staff in there, for sure. Read more

IHOP in Newport has really gone down hills. The floors are dirty, the tables are not clean or sanitized. We sat for 30min and... the table sat unclean after we left. I gave it a 2 star, because the waitress was nice. Read more
No complaints, all good things???? We came in about an hour or so before they closed. It wasn't very busy; they were closing... early due to staffing issues (covid). The place was clean, the workers were nice, friendly and efficient. Our order was correct& our server fantastic at her job. Read more
Waited 20 minutes for order to be ready although it was scheduled to be ready at 8 am. My mom ordered strawberry and cream... crepes but it was completely dry. I ordered the steak omelet but instead of steak, it was sausage. Highly disappointed. Willnever return to this location. Read more

We are visiting the Cincinnati area for a family vacation this weekend. We decided to come to the Newport IHOP for supper. There... was only one worker there (other than cooks). His name was Todd. He was busy, service was slower than had they been fullystaffed, but he was incredibly friendly, as efficient as he could be, our order was put in and came out 100% correct. It was hotand delicious. Though he has the whole restaurant to manage, he did it well. His demeanor with all guest was so polite. Hats offto you, Todd. You are incredible.
