This has been one of my favorite places for over 20 years. The owners are friendly, the food is excellent every time and it is... the classic neighborhood place. Cold beer, great food, friendly staff and customers. You can't go wrong! Try the Coach'sChoice. Best Burger Ever! Read more

Coaches is the definition of a neighborhood bar. It is a gem hidden in Newport, a diamond in the rough if you will. I had one of... their famous burgers for lunch a couple weeks ago. Their blue cheese is spectacular with big chunks and lots of flavor. I reallyenjoyed their thick chunky "french fries". If you're not there to eat then let me just say that their drinks were good too. Ididn't order anything off the wall weird or anything but the prices were worth every drop. First-Timer and it was outstanding! Probably the best burger I've had in a long time. So juicy and a crispy bun. Coaches Choice... Burger was excellent with fresh cut fries. They have various burgers, sandwiches, fish, wings, wraps and salads. Local owned barand grill for 15 years or more. Friendly staff, fresh food and cozy pub for drinks and fun. This is one of our favorite spots in the East Row. Great food and the people and service are wonderful! If you love to be... outdoors, they've done a lot to the patio area to make it a cozy space. We love the cheeseburgers and loaded cajun fries. But,anything you get will be delicious. Read more
