I recently tried the cellar for the first time. I went with a small group of friends at a time when they were not busy. My food... was good, but they seemed to be a little inconsistent with the food/drinks for our group. My meat wasn’t super warm, but mysides were hot. My friend was missing a component of her meal, where as another friend who ordered the same thing had theirsplated properly. We all ordered drinks and out of tow identically ordered drinks, one was missing the lime/citrus. There was asteak that wasn’t cooked to order. My personal experience was decent and everyone liked the flavor of the food, so I’dprobably try again, but there just seems to be some quality control/consistency issues. Read more

My husband and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary last night! Had some cocktails at the Bays and enjoyed a nice dinner at... the Cellar. Great service and the food was delicious! One of my favorite places in Downtown Newnan! Read more
Chophouse chicken was AMAZING! Friend had the Salmon and it was also great! I am already planning our next visit. Quiet,... comfortable, clean. The fried pickles weren’t what I expected but we’re still good. More sweet than savory, pickle in afunnel cake is how it tasted to us. Not bad, just different. Next time I’ll get the fried tomatoes. The Cellar in downtown Newnan is a small quaint place but the food is full of taste. I wasn't sure of the fine dining options in... the area but found this place based on other reviewers. I had the salmon stuffed trout plate while my spouse had the surf andturf. I'm not a big seafood eater but the fish was very delicated and had the right texture. I enjoyed it. My spouse's filet wasso tender and moist. The chef really did a number on the steak as I had to try it for myself based on the look alone. Irecommend anyone down in the Newnan area to check this place out. Read more
The service was lovely, my brother and I came here while travelling through town. They had one of my favorite limited release... beers (Westbrook - Mexican Cake) which I've never seen at a bar. The Apple, Brie and Cranberry Quesidilla was delicious withsome chicken added. The bartender made me a Cranberry Bliss cocktail which I loved and would recommend to anybody. Definitely agood location to stop by if you're near. Read more
Tonight we celebrated my step daughter's 16th birthday at the Cellar in Newnan. Everything we had was beyond delicious. The... birthday girl had shrimp and grits. My stepson and my husband and & I, each had a boar burger. well, my husband and I sharedours, but now I wish we had ordered one each. It was hands down the best burger I've ever had! And yall, I've eaten somefreaking phenomenal burgers before! I'm not sure what made it so delicious but something certainly did! As a side, we hadroasted veggies and lemon risotto. both were fantastic. Often, roasted veggies at a restaurant can be under done and way underseasoned. These however were just right!. I would like to give a shout out to our server, Greg who is also the bartender. hemade me two wonderful martinis that had things like basil and rosemary in them and were greatly balanced between sweet andsavory. He also made sure Jim got everything gluten free and advised us on all the dishes and drinks! All in all it was one ofthe most enjoyable meals I've ever had. Read more
