We decided to try Mac's as soon as they opened. It' Quickly became our Favorite place for Wings, Pizza and Sandwiches! Always... spotless clean. The Food is cooked to order and is Fresh and sooo good! Wait time varies due to time and day and of courselimited employees but you can call your order in or order on-line. Decided to try the spot because it was sorta new and close to home. Food ended up being amazing, and now this is my go to spot.... Wings are always fresh and well sauced. They have never disappointed me. Pizza was amazing. Toppings are well distributed andthe pizza is not too greasy. The Philly steaks are the best Philly steaks that you will find in the area. I'm so glad to have a great pizza place on this side of town! I order pizza and wings a couple times a month from this location... and it's always great. They have a great selection of wing flavors and none of them have disappointed. We especially like thegarlic parmesan, Georgia peach, Korean bbq, and Carolina gold bbq flavors. The guy behind the counter was nice, I guess maybe the owner. They overcharged me and I brought it to his attention and he was... going to get it right. But then I got home, they didn?t give us any ranch with 30 wings. I had to pay extra for celery. And theweeks were so overcooked you could see about half of the bone. Service was good. People were kind. Food was prompt coming out. Location was clean and presented well. If I were passing... judgement on that alone, they'd get 5 stars. But this is the worst pizza I've ever tasted or tried to chew up. The crust is likea spongy cardboard box. Obviously a frozen pie. And not even a good one. I didn't try the wings, just a pizza. I ate one piece,gave a piece to my dogs and threw the rest in the garbage bin. When I returned to the dogs,they were trying to roll on top onthe pizza slice instead of eat it. Literally the first time I have ever met a pizza I wouldn't eat. Heartbreaking experience.The irony of watching Gordon Ramsey Kitchen Nightmares in their dining are while waiting for the pizza is not wasted on meeither. My wife and I were in Macs tonight. They were very busy(to be expected on a Friday night). We ordered online. The wait was... pretty long...about an hour for a large pizza and 20 wings BUT when we did get the food, it was hot and very good. They havesome expected kinks to work out in order to have things run smoothly but they are a brand new location so please bare with them.I witnessed firsthand how hard they were working to get everyones food out. Super excited to see a restaurant with the innovative menu that delivers an our area. The chicken wings that I got today are... huge. Way bigger than any place else in the neighborhood that I can think of. They have a bunch of different kinds of sauce andI tried four of them. Mango, sweet habanero North Carolina barbecue and orange chicken. I'm glad that I got each one some arehot some are not. All of them were big a nice variation of flats and drums. These folks do care about doing the best they canand it shows. The employees were super kind and very attentive. I've ordered numerous times and no mistakes have been made onpizza or wings. I would like to see all of the employees in the back wearing masks. ????And I think it's important that theemployees out front understand protocol as well. I did call ahead of time and addressed my concerns and they were more thanglad to bring food to us in the car.???? That works very well for us because there was like a dozen customers without maskseither. ???? I greatly appreciate how hard these folks are trying, and I will be back as soon as I can for another 40 or 50wings.
