Came here with a friend because their patio is nice. It’s right by the water so it’s a cute spot. However, a lot of fruit... flies constantly flying around. Drinks are mediocre and food is not very flavourful. My margarita was made with lemonadeinstead of lime and white wine and garlic mussels tasted like they just poured white wine on top of the steamed mussels. Saucewas not given time to reduce. Two couples ahead of us and one behind us were all refused seating on the patio, because patio it was only available by... reservation. We left as we were not interested in seating inside. While walking around, I checked their web site forreservations and I was able to make a reservation for just 15 minutes later on Patio. 15 Minutes later, we went back to therestaurant and informed the host that we have a reservation. We were pointed to a table on the patio in the sun. I requestedthat I would like to be on the other/shade side, but was told that my reservation did not request that side and that theother/shade side is reserved. There were at least 4 tables available on that side, but I was refused because my reservation didnot specifically say I wanted to sit in the shade. At this point, it felt, I was specifically being denied a table for whateverreason, and I asked to speak with the manager. I was immediately told by the host that the manager was in Kitchen and notavailable to speak with me. My wife and I left the place and started to walk across the street to check out some of the otherrestaurants. Within a few minutes of us walking away, we received a call from the host telling us that we can come back and shewould seat us at a table in shade as someone else just left. We turned that offer down as we didn't feel this place should getour business. We were able to easily get a table in the shade on the patio across the street and Ground Burger and enjoyed ourmeal. We had a quick lunch on the patio today before the rain. It was unusually quiet but nice. I had the mussels and a small Caesar... salad, which was delicious. My husband and daughter had the baked Reuben. My hubby liked his but my daughter found hers to begrizzly. The Server was quick and attentive. Read more
Good prices considering inflation has raised costs. Great looking food. Juicy fresh flavourful burger. Handmade onion rings and... crisp fries. Crunchy big Ceasar salad with well prepared chicken. Great location. Cycling and tripped over this gem! Busy spot! No tables available at the riverfront however large street side... patio that was very accommodating. Menu selections for us included mussels, wedge salad and baked Reuben….a first butdefinitely not my last :0) Thank you Jennifer for a great meal and biking stop. We’ll be back! Read more
Went here for a girls night the food was phenomenal. Way better than the reviews and as anticipated. The mussels are absolutely... a must. The portions were all large. We will be back for drinks. Read more
Location is amazing. Food was pretty decent, but honestly expected more. Good fries were nice! Baked Reuben (weird looking... sandwich as per busboy) was ok, not a fan. My friend had PEI mussels and they were good. Wedge salad was decent. Cheesecake andcreme brûlée were really good. A very disappointing lunch. We ordered mussels for lunch and the broth was very watery and should have been simmered down. ... Mussels weren't cleaned properly because they were so gritty and tasted fishy. The bread that came with the mussels wasextremely stale. It was so hard and hard to chew. The chef warmed up stale bread slices and drizzled some olive oil on it tomake it look somewhat appealing. It wasn't. I ordered the chicken sandwich and the chicken was rubberish and dry. Definitelynot fresh. There was no flavour at all. My salad came with a teaspoon of salad dressing on the side and the greens were notfresh. My husband ordered a baked Reuben sandwich and it was burnt black on the bottom. Fries weren't salted at all. Theambiance is dark and the food is well below par for the price. Left extremely disappointed. I felt ripped off and personallywould be embarrassed to serve food that is just warmed up and not fresh. I usually don't write reviews but I felt the needafter I spent $100 on a lunch at this place. The staff wasn't even wearing proper uniform. It felt very unprofessional.
