One of the best poke bowl places I?ve been to overall. The food quality, freshness, and taste are excellent and the portion size... is amazing for the price. You can see the food being made on-site, and the owners are simply amazing. They?re very warm andhospitable, which makes even visiting the place a pleasure on its own. And did I mention how cute the interior looks? They alsohave two patios right outside the store so people can dine there as well. Their new menus (shaved ice and the upcoming pumpkinporridge for the fall season) are phenomenal as well. Overall, would highly recommend to anyone just needing a quick meal ofgood poke bowl or sushi, or for those who are in need of some friendly, warm hospitality. Read more

I went here because I heard great things about it and my regular sushi spot in Newington is closed on Sundays. I will start by... saying the owners are VERY nice. Unfortunately, nice doesn't equate to good quality food or value. Needless to say, the food wassub par. I got two Boston shrimp rolls. There was almost no shrimp in the rolls. You can see in the photo, or can?t see becauseit?s barely there lol. They basically looked and tasted like veggie rolls. I also ordered the pork gyoza. They give you a soysauce packet instead of gyoza sauce. Actually, the soy sauce for the rolls also came in packets. They also charge extra forspicy Mayo which has never ever happened to me. I am SUPER disappointed in the quality of food. These two rolls, the spicy mayo,and the gyoza cost $24. If I didn?t get this to go right before closing, I would have brought this back for a refund right afterlooking at it. What a waste of money!!! Read more
