I had lunch and it was fine. The hostess was very friendly. I ate a marinated calamari appetizer which was good and a large... portion. For my meal I got the classic Italian sandwich which was ok. The bread was more of a generic commercial roll vs aciabatta or pane casereccio and the meats didn?t have the spectrum or diversity I enjoy in a good sandwich. Service was slow.Price was fair. Lovely experience at the bar tonight. Originally ordered my food to go, as I realized I would have time to dine in, they... graciously accommodate my request to eat at the bar. Charles, the bartender, is very polite, kind & attentive. The garlic breadwas one of the best I?ve had. Honestly too good, I ate the whole thing alone. Carbonara with homemade fettuccine is my go to,and it?s consistently delicious. The wine list has great Italian options you rarely see by the glass. I love having another goodlocal option for Monday dining. I would like to think that ?Giuseppe? would be happy to see the care that the new ownership hastaken with this neighborhood staple. Wow! My husband and I ate at Giuseppe?s for the first time today. Absolutely the best Italian food we?ve ever had! They also... have a market next to the eat in section of the restaurant where you can get all the same entrees to go. Such convenience! Read more
Great menu for Italian food and drinks AMD beer are not expensive. Some of the pasta dishes are easily enough for 2. Ask your... server. The grocery store section is filled with tempting take homes. First time. Went to the host, she looked at us and said nothing? The restaurant was half full and she sat us at the worst... possible table. Ask for a different table and the one we got rocked back and forth (needed repairs). The next group came behindus and got a nice booth. Left , she should be fired. Probably the boss!! Read more
Past by this restaurant several times thinking it was just a sub shop. But it's a whole lot more. The food was really, really... good. Tasted fresh and was hot. Pasta dishes were top notch and the Italian bread fantastic. Very friendly and attentive staff.I'll definitely be going back. Read more
We were seated quickly and that was the only good part. After being seated the service was terrible. The restaurant was busy but... it seems we were forgotten. After being seated with 3 kids we waited 25 minutes before a server came to take our drink order.The salads took 45 minutes to come to our table and the food came out 10 minutes later. The server disappeared and never cameback to check on us. The food was average but not worth the wait. It?s hard going out with little ones normally but this was theworst experience we have had in a long time. Read more
