Held a birthday party here. Nice table in a round room. Service was very slow (60 minutes to get food) as our server had other... duties and was working bar for an event being hosted there. Some food was cold. Also paid a $25 cake fee for bringing our owncake, though the server said the manor did not have a cake we could buy. Read more

Check-in was effortlessly. The staff was friendly and helpful. Not going to lie, the rumors of the place being haunted had me... nervous, but our stay was in the cabin and not the manor. The cabin was bigger than I expected. Upon entering, the heat was onso it was nice and warm. That was welcoming on a cold day. The views were beautiful and it was quiet at night. Only drawback wasthe Hillside cabins didn't come with fire rings, and the shower should be replaced. Other than that I highly recommend the cabinlife. Read more

Nice lodge with beautiful architecture and interesting history including haunting stories. Stayed a few nights in the newer... annex section, found the bedding comfortable and the room was clean. As others have mentioned, walls are thin. Luckily only hada neighbor 1 night, as we could hear an older man talking too loudly when he was there. Had dinner there once, it was alrightbut nothing memorable. Overall we did enjoy our stay there, the older section was fun to explore. Read more

Hosted a wedding there for 80 people. Service was above and beyond! Megan the event coordinator is simply amazing and stayed 10... steps ahead of everyone the entire time. She was so cheerful and a bright spot of the planning process , definitely someone youwant running the show. Becky the bartender was the life of the party and was such a joy to be around. Sarah and max, worked likecrazy to make the night nothing short of magical. Punderson made our wedding day a delight and we are incredibly thankful fortheir hard work. Read more

Punderson Manor is a unique Ohio state lodge and the rooms and restaurant menu insure guests are swept into the history of what... was once a private home. There is even a small library for those who want privacy. The views and landscaping add to the ambianceof quiet luxury.. Rooms are spacious , especially in the newer wing, and well appointed. A personal opinion, but the lodgeseems better suited to adults who appreciate the locals. Read more

We enjoyed a nice dinner at the restaurant. Not a complaint but only minor issue was a limited menu but to be expected with... what is happening during these pandemic years. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Fair prices and the entertainmentwas nice too. It only took me just shy of 53 years to discover NE Ohio's hidden gem. Plan on visiting the rest of the parkmoving forward. Punderson gives you the quaint castle feel. The pools were rather cold, no hot tub, no game room. Staff are super friendly and... the rooms are clean albeit could use some updating. Beds are full-size not queen. Great air conditioning! There is currentlyno sprinkler system working, (signs everywhere) so keep that in mind. Fire pits are not included in the room, rather the costto use one is $25. Read more

Hi! We loved our first stay at Punderson Manor in June 2022, and we would like to come back! The things we loved the most... (besides the beautiful state park setting and Tudor style architecture) were the hand soap and lotion in the rooms (smelled sogood!) We would love to buy some for home (gift shop idea!) Also, the coffee was amazing (liquid Folgers concentrate I am told).Loved the fire pits lakeside! Things that we would like to see improved on was the mattresses (they were pretty stiff and wewoke up in room 105 with neck and back aches every day. I heard you are replacing them soon, so that is good!!) Also, there wereno towel racks to hang your towels. A microwave would have been nice as well, for popcorn or snacks between meals. Therestaurant food was ok. We had both continental and regular breakfast, as well as the Buffalo cauliflower, cheeseburger andhouse salad. I would not probably eat here again, except maybe breakfast (I understand you are between chefs). For the giftshop, I wished there was a women?s fitted T with Punderson Manor photo/artwork. The grounds were well kept, and the pool wasvery roomy. Affordability is important to my husband and I, especially with prices of everything getting so high these days, sowe really appreciated being able to come here for a relaxing getaway, and hope to come back for many more years to come.
