Reviews for Maple Street Biscuit Company in Newberry, FL
This place is amazing, the food, the customer service, the environment?. Everything! Shawn and Serina were amazing to us and... explained everything in our first visit. I recommend this place a 100%. Their business motto is food first! So you know you aregetting delicious food! Also they have good veggie options! Again i can?t express enough how good of a customer service, thefood, and the delivery were! Also come try their mimosas ! Read more
We've been here before and it was really good... However it seems to be going downhill. Came in about an hour before closing... time and the first thing the cashier said to us was not a greeting, but informing us that it was going to be a 35 minute wait orlonger, actually probably longer, for food, and did we still want to order? Then asked us if we wanted our food to go. Paid fora soda, but several of the fountain drink choices were completely out. After we sat for a while, an employee came out and putstickers on the empty sodas (pictured). All the open tables were dirty, so we picked the least dirty table to wipe downourselves to sit at. One of the two bathrooms had signage that it was out of order, and the "in" order bathroom was poorlymaintained. No soap, toilet paper sitting on top of the dispenser, sink didn't drain. Waited 40 minutes for MOST of our food, and another 5-10 minutes for the potatos...which were brought to us, unseasoned, and in a to go container. While we attemptedto enjoy our breakfast, we got to listen to staff loudly complain about (and take pictures of) an unbussed table that was leftby other customers. Understandable, since all the trash stations were overflowing. Food was decent, but definitely overshadowedby the poor customer service. Read more
If you want some good waffles and biscuits, this is the place to go in Gainesville! The restaurant is spacious and there?s no... long wait to be seated during weekends. We ordered their signature dish (chicken and waffle) as well as their new one(fritaffle). Both were good. The town of Tioga is also a nice place to visit for a weekend outing. Read more
The food is amazing and honestly the best breakfast/brunch spot this side of Gainesville/Jonesville!! However, when you come to... eat here be patient? Many times I?ve had to wait 20+ minutes for online orders. BUT it?s seriously worth the wait!! (Pictured ismy fav the squawking goat!) Read more
4.5 (and rounding up). Scrumptious for breakfast! Everything we ate tasted perfect. Only thing that took a while was the coffee... drinks where we had to inform the barista we didn?t get our order (upon receiving the other components of our meal). Make sureto answer their question of the month (and maybe have a unique answer) to get your order! Parking available on spaces throughthe strip. Read more
The biscuit was really good with the icing. The best biscuit was the one with the sweet pepper jelly and got cheese. Phone that... I still like it wasn't a biscuits and gravy had a little kick to it but were really good and would get this biscuit next time byitself. Read more
Went for the first time today and tried both their cinnamon biscuits and Sticky Maple biscuit sandwich. The biscuits were a bit... hard but if you like chicken and waffles, you?d love their chicken and biscuits! The syrup is very sweet but nonetheless yummy.I think the some of their drinks are overpriced but worth trying at least once. Great service, fun environment, and woulddefinitely go again! Read more
We were in the area and saw the word "biscuits" so wanted to find out what type of food establishment it was. First time going... here so we were new to the place. Really happy we stopped by ?????? Very friendly professional staff said hello as we walkedin. Gave us just enough time for me and my husband to choose what we wanted off the delicious sounding menu. We ordered thehalf dozen biscuits to go - 3 of the cinnamon and 3 of the classic buttermilk with a side of apple butter - plus an order ofkettle chips. Wow! The chips were an unexpected treat hitting the crunchy, salty, sweet tooth that we didn't know we had thisafternoon. We're usually not a fan of the salty n' sweet so this was a pleasant surprise. We shared 1 order of the chips to go,but one person might be able to finish it if the craving was bad enough ???? The biscuits were tasty and crunchy, yet soft andcrumbly on the inside. Definitely best when freshly heated up (which they were) and despite it being a hot day, eating 2 of thebiscuits helped us stay satisfied until we got home for dinner. Would be glad to return here to try their waffles for a dine-inexperience. Love the barncore decor as well adding to the whole homemade food feel. Read more
