The food was not the greatest but the waitress we had was definitely the only one who had some type of energy. The sweet potato ... Souffle could have used some more blending and sugar/ brown sugar . The macaroni had good consistency and after adding a littlesalt and pepper it definitely helped. The baked chicken was on the dry side maybe doing a smothered chicken will help with themoisture. Very unimpressed. Will likely never go back. Good was sub par and too expensive for the disaster we received. We order for pick... up this evening. 3 meals, 2 appetizers, two sides that I thought were included (if you order sandwiches, it does not come withsides), and 3 cobblers. All of our fries were barely cooked and not seasoned, chicken steps were dry and under seasoned, Cubansandwich can barely be described as a Cuban sandwich, the chicken bacon ranch wrap was okay (but definitely not for the price),and the cobbler, that was supposedly peach cobbler was barely a spoonful of mushy cake with maybe a peach in each order. Theonly thing I can say was somewhat good was the 7 corn nuggets (corn nuggets tasted good, but hardly any in the order) I receivedand the fried pickles were okay but rubbery. We called ahead and asked if they had outside dining--they said yes. Two tables without umbrellas outside and there were... umbrellas on the ground just not on the tables. Waitress forgot about us.The salad was excellent. The sweet potato fries werehand made and cooked to perfection. We felt like we annoyed them by wanting to sit outside. Update: the two tables they hadoutside and the outside area are gone. They do not have outside seating of any type. We have not gone back as their lack ofinterest in creating a comfortable dining atmosphere was evident. The food was average at best and with other options close withoutdoor dining (Stonehouse, Newberry Pizza, Woodyard Grill) that are nicely done we'll go where our business is wanted. Read more
Stopped in on our way through this cute town and this is a Gem of a find! Real Country cooking at very fair prices not to... mention what a great staff and super clean and welcoming! We ordered off the specials board and the BBQ sliced pork and beefwas amazing! The chicken tenders where actually cut chicken breast lightly battered and delicious and all served with yourchoice of homemade sides including a dessert choice! The peach cobbler was perfect, not to sweet served warm and full ofpeaches! This will be our go to stop when passing through again! Read more
Wow the food here is amazing! I had the meatloaf with gravy and onions, collard greens, mashed potatoes with gravy and mac and... cheese. All of the food was so flavorful and delicious! The portions were big and the price was unbeatable at only $9.95 in thiseconomy. The servers were extremely nice and helpful as well. You definitely need to check this place out! Read more
My first time here! Amazing service and if you know why you're going, it's wonderful! I wish I could remember my waitresses... name, she was awesome(especially with a 1 year old). They do cater to a demographic but, there is salt and pepper on the tableif you need! Can't wait to go back and have breakfast! Bet it is delightful! Waitress alone will bring us(family of 7) BACK!! Outstanding food like Grandma used to make I don't know what else to say the service was good and the prices were cheap
I ate here several times while visiting the area. Fast friendly service. Good food, catfish, liver and onions, greens, Lima... beans, okra and tomatoes are all tasty. Prices are average but prices everywhere are up. Will definitely eat here again. Read more
