Absolutely wonderful customer service. It felt as you were home. You were greeted like family and the lovely lady that serviced... me absolutely so welcoming. After a few failed attempts we finally made it to Arepas Milko and I gotta say it was totally worth the wait. We walked in and... were greated by the owners wife. She was super sweet and friendly and took the time to explain the menu too us give adescription of everything. Aftet placing our orders and waiting a short time our food came out piping hot! It was so, so good!We got the cachapa and plantain sandwich and wow they were amazing! We will definitely be back and I have already spread theword to all my friends! We decided to try this place because of the advertised Venezuelan food. We dined in and were a bit overwhelmed by all the... choices. The owner was so kind to explain and recommend. We tried the fried cheese sticks. They could have been a meal inthemselves! So, so good! My husband got the pulled pork on a tostone with cabbage and I got the same, but pulled beef instead. It was HUGE. It was so different and delicious. Now I have half for tomorrow and a couple of cheese sticks. We talked withthe owner at the end of our meal and enjoyed her warmth and friendliness. Yummy y Rico altogether! Fist time visit and randomly found (on Google Maps) coming back home to Gainesville from a day in the... gulf coast. The tequeños were perfectly portioned and served with that amazing green sauce. I had the Arepa with Fried Porkand cabbage. The flavors of the pork was really good, even though I personally would have preferred a little less of the pinksauce (it seemed to cover too much of the other good flavors and messy eating). We also tried the Arepa with Cheese and that wasperfect especially as a vegetarian option. The sandwich style thinness was a nice alternative to the clumpy traditional ones wehave tried at other places. I will definitely have to go back to try other Arepas. Great find! Read more
First off, wow! Their food is amazing. They used to be located in Jonesville but now have a home location in Newberry. I... absolutely love the fried cheesebread and the steak w/ lettuce. Next time I'll try it on the tostones. My husband got the porkw/ cabbage on the tostones, which he loved. We will be sure to continue to come back. Maybe next time we'll try dessert (sawflan in one of the pictures). They're some hard working people, they got the food out really quick and I got to wait in thecomfort of my car. Read more
