Great local Mexican food some days better than others seems like tho
Been here at the Newbern location several times. Food good and served in timely manner. Owner not so generous with offering... chips, dip or anything leftover when it's time to checkout. He wants to charge you extra for it without saying anything untilyou notice the bill is higher than it should be. Read more

OUTSTANDING I live on the southwest side of Chicago and I was in Newbern visiting a old friend when I went to El Vallarta. The... service was great and the food was fantastic. Authentic Mexican food. I had the Cheese steak burrito. The meat was tender andflavorful and the entire burrito was meat,no lettuce or anything else to fill it.There is a dozen mexican restaurants almost inwalking distance from my house and El Vallarta is as good as the best of them in my neighborhood.Maybe better. I know I will beback on my next trip to Tennessee. Read more

Stop in at least a few to me es a month, because I can be in and out and on my way home with good and hot food in a matter of f... just a few minutes or so. Wether I call it in it just run thru the window to order when I get there, it's always super quick andso far it's always been good. And I don't really expect that to change any time soon.
