I ordered from here through Grubhub and it was NOT worth the price. As many others have mentioned, they’re very stingy with... the portions. For 20$ worth of egusi soup I received 1 chicken drumstick, 1 small piece of beef, and an inedible fat/cartilagecap that I’m assuming was supposed to be the goat meat I ordered. At that, all of the meat was severely over cooked and dry.The flavor of the soup was pretty good and had a decent spice to it (I personally prefer it hotter though). The cassava fufu wassmooth and supple, reminding me of the texture of mashed potatoes. The Nigerian meat pie I ordered came ice cold. Literally ICECOLD. It was like it had just come out the freezer/fridge as it was still even in a ziplock bag. If you’re looking for a goodmeal, at a reasonable price - I don’t think this is the place. The rice ( jollof and fried) and the egusi soup is delicious. However my only complaint is the meat. Every time we order it is... always a gamble as to whether or not the goat meat or the chicken will be cooked tender enough to be eaten. Please cook to meata little longer, the skin of the goat meat is often hard and the chicken is sometimes dry. I don’t want the meat to befighting me when I am trying to enjoy my meal. Thank you. my favorite african food to eat HANDS down. the owner is an awesome, FRIENDLY woman. When you first come in , it doesnt give off... to friendly, but once you walk to the back to order or get your food, its a different vibe. The food is AMAZING ! I always getEfo riro w/ fufu . which is spinach & pounded yam . It comes with 3 different meats however , i only eat fish & its AMAZING ! Ijust love this spot, i feel as if Mama G literally cooked this in my home. Highly recommend. Read more
