When I look at the ratings for the restaurant, it was great to try. However, after trying it, I am really disappointed. The... shrimp had a thick flour coating. I can taste the mushy flour taste. Also the shrimp is really small. The pork is too dry andchewy. The egg is cold, maybe it is intended to be cold. The only ok item is the sausage. The curry is absorbed by the ricewhich making the rice too soft and the rice is just warm. Read more

I can promise everyone reading this that the food at this location is just as good, if not better, than that found in New York... City, despite the fact that it is outside of the bustling areas of the city. The pace of life isn't as hectic as it would be inNew York City, and I think that sometimes this results in better, more comfortable food. After eating a smaller lunch duringthe day, I always suggest having a Grand Slam Curry for dinner. Even though it is suggested that this serves two people, theremay be days when, like me, you can't stop after just one serving! I also like this location over the ones in NYC since thestaff, notably Joy, are really friendly people that treat you like royalty in addition to making your food correctly andrecognizing your loyalty to the brand and location. It's way better than making Japanese curry at home despite the ready made curry cube sold in every market. The difference is the... piece of deep fried breaded protein that is crunchy outside but juicy inside. Portion might be right for Asian but a bit smallercompared to American fast food standard Read more

A diamond in the rough. It was recommended by the Courtyard hotel staff. It was a good choice. The spice level is pre set. It... was very nice to meet the owner Joy. She takes great pride in her restaurant and for good reason. A very nice and welcoming. Read more

Good food, but a little bit on the pricey side. The pork was cooked perfectly; soft on the inside and very crispy exterior. If I... could I would give this place a solid 4.5 Read more

I got the chicken home run curry and I enjoyed every bite. It comes with your choice of chicken or pork cutlet, one tempura... shrimp, one sausage, one boiled egg, cabbage, and rice. I got extra cabbage (which is free) and I appreciated the extra crunchit gave. I loved the variety in each bite because of all the different proteins. Read more

OMG a GoGo Curry in NJ and near hubby's job! I was sad that the pandemic have me WFH because I miss my coworkers and eating at... some favorite places in NYC. GoGo Curry was one of those place. We found it because we were driving around looking for streetparking while going to another restaurant lol Pork Katsu is my favorite! Crispy and tender. Not enough Curry but that mightbe because it was absorbed by the rice. Will have to go in to sit down to eat it fresh vs 30min later take out LOL Hubby gotFish which is new to me. Don't recall if it was a option in NYC location. It's actually good. Fried fish is always iffy forme as I've had some horrible fried fish so am always weary... See you soon GoGo Curry! Read more

I ordered the home run with my girlfriend for lunch. It was pretty good but there were a few reasons why I couldn't rate this... higher. First of all, though the presentation was good, I felt that The amount of curry was just not enough. Also, most of thecurry just was absorbed by the rice which took away from the Curry experience for me. I think that if the curry was on the sideit would just be a better idea. The pork and the shrimp and the sausage were very good but nothing was really mind-blowinglytasty. It tasted exactly how I expected it to taste, by that I mean it didn't go beyond my expectations. So I am satisfied butI'm not blown away. not sure I would order again. Read more
