Upset. If it says a place closes at a certain time isn?t the expectation that you should get served until that time comes? I... arrived before closing and I was not served because they said they were closed. This is bad customer service especially if thedoors are still unlocked. It?s not only about the food. If you won?t stick to your hours then change them.Simple. Nevertheless, their subs are great. Read more

Typical looking sandwich shop with surprisingly good sandwiches! Got the grilled chicken breast on a Kaiser roll. It appears... small but was loaded with grilled chicken and rice cherry tomatoes! Took awhile to eat! Knew it had to be a good place becauseit was loaded with police eating lunch! Read more

Fantastic lunch place. Great hot and cold sandwiches, wizards of the chicken cutlet and their salads are fresh and amazing.... Charlie runs a great business and is always friendly to all his customers. Read more

This is a great little deli in Newark. The sandwiches are large and inexpensive. We only ate half for lunch and saved the rest... for later. I wish we had places like this in Minnesota. Read more

This place was recommended by a coworker since we both wanted a decent pastrami sandwich and our regular go to is currently... closed. I went in believing it was a good idea. The place was clean and the customer service was good. The wait time was not toolong, even though they were starting to get a little busy. I ordered a pastrami on rye with lettuce, tomatoes and mustard. Mycoworker ordered just pastrami on rye. They do not have pickles. Prices were reasonable. When I got to my office and opened mysandwich, I was disappointed with what I saw. Grease! The wrapping was soaked in grease. The bread was dark and mushy withgrease, and the grease was oozing out of the sandwich. The bread on the side of my sandwich that had the lettuce was stillnormal looking rye, because the lettuce was a type of barrier. My coworker had the same issue with her sandwich. Grease oozingout of the sandwich and soaking the bread! Since we were hungry, she and I tried to blot the grease with paper towels so wecould at least eat the pastrami. That didn't work because, not only was it greasy, it was entirely too salty! My coworker saidshe loves salt, but it was way too salty even for her. This lunch was inedible for both of us! Time and money wasted! Neveragain! Read more

This has been my go-to spot for a while now, the sandwiches are great! Typically what we do on a day that there won't be too... much time in-between meetings, is order two breakfast sandwiches, grab two bags of chips and split a sandwich. Reasonably pricedconsidering the great quality of food. It can get pretty busy here so I tend to call ahead, by the time I'm down the elevator, walk there, and grabbing my drinks the food is ready. Give this deli a try! Read more

This spot has been on my radar for a while and happy I got to try it. I called in my order of the Sweet Lou with a nice guy that... answered. When I arrived I couldn't find parking. Parking in this area is terrible so be prepared. When I walked in the man saidmy name and gave me my food and it came to about $10. I paid via credit card and left. When I tasted the sandwich it was prettygood. I liked the flavoring and it was plenty especially for the price. I will be back for more. Read more
