Pro: very efficient run restaurant. The food order and come just right in time. The dry ramen is actually taste very nice with... minced truffle mushroom and minced pork. Believe this is a new recipe. Neutral: because it is efficient, the waitress will putthe bill in front your table to ensure you get the message is time to pay. Just neutral. I would come again to try other newrecipe Read more

i ordered their potato shrimp appetizer and their zurutto classic ramen. starting with their appetizer, it came out hot and... sizzling. the dish had a delicious crunchy outer shell. it was similar to eating shrimp tempura except with a potato based(almost deep fried shoestring fry texture) shell that worked so well. the ramen was delicious, though i tend to prefer tonkotsusoup based l, but given that this is a chicken broth based ramen, it was very good. the flavors are pronounced yet subtle.intricate and nuanced, i was kept intrigued by the flavors of the broth. i finished everything by the end of the meal and leftsatisfied. the noodles were good (slightly over cooked for my preference) and the egg had the perfect lava yolk texture. ihighly recommend swinging by and checking them out! Pretty big venue for NYC and great service. The food was unbelievably quick and absolutely delicious for a good price. We had... fried wontons to start, then each had our own ramen. Loved the ramen with huge portions and tender meat. I got the original andabsolutely loved it. Overall great experience and left unbelievably full. Definitely recommend. Read more

Nice little Japanese restaurant on the street. The waiters were very kind and respectful of their customers. The handmade gyoza... was delicious along with the takoyaki. The octopus inside was a little overcooked but it had a great flavor. The ramen brothsweren’t as strong but the egg inside was delicious. Portions for the salad and sides were small but great. Zurutto is one of those rare Japanese establishments that makes you think, "Now THIS food is special." From the quick and... friendly service that sat us at our table, to the delicious garlic butter edamame, mayo shrimp, and pork buns, to the flavorpacked into the ramen, we had a wonderful time getting dinner here. The service is truly excellent. So attentive and quick, butwithout being in your face. If there is ever a place that justifies giving the staff a big tip, this is the place. The ramenwas very big in portion size. My partner got the deluxe and I got the tantan. Both were excellent. The deluxe is comforting andsilky, and the tantan had a nice spicy kick that was moderated with a delicious peanut sauce laced in with the noodles. Theprices were quite reasonable. I would recommend trying their appetizers. All three that we tried were fantastic. Zuruttoprovides some of the best ramen in upper Manhattan. I would highly recommend trying them at least once.
