This place have been here for a very looong time, steady with very reasonable prices for NYC and special menu prixfix ($11 for... lunch- 5 course for $26) large dishes, tasty food good atmosphere. Definitely try. I know things are generally expensive in the city and more so during the pandemic. So restaurant and businesses in general are... trying to recover their losses over the past years. But yum yum too is not the norm. I had intentions of getting the lunchspecial on a Sat, made my way there and was told lunch special is M-F only, sure no problem, even though it was not published assuch. So I order the pad thai with chicken which I have had before and it came in a small portion, even smaller than the typicallunch special, at a higher weekend price point. For the price point, the food was good- we had chicken pad Thai with broccoli added, and one of the curry dishes. The curry had... huge flavor, maybe a bit too much ginger, and the pad Thai was mostly noodles, but the sauce was well balanced and not toosweet. I appreciate that they had some GF options! Read more
