Very authentic Cantonese dishes. The beef Ho Fan is perfect ???? The congee is very flavorful Everything we try was yummy The... only thing was that we ordered chicken fingers and it was bad and also came in a plastic container while the other dishes camein plates. Also if they don’t have something you ordered they don’t tell you. The Hong Kong milk tea is not bad but the cupis not clean. We saw lots of stains when you drank it down…… just a note maybe ask for it be be in a paper cup? Read more

Heard about XO Taste from a Tick Tok video. It’s Located in the heart of NYC’s Chinatown so i’d say it’s pretty... authentic. Had to have lunch here on my most recent visit to NYC, even though it wasn’t exactly near where I was staying. Ourparty of 2 had lunch here. Service was fast and friendly. Also, it’s CASH ONLY! Better stop by the ATM on your way over. It’s worth it! Promise you. We ordered the Chicken Congee, Beef Lo Mien, Steamed Pork Bao Soup, and Shrimp wrapped in RiceNoodles. All 4 were amazing, but if i had to choose a favorite it’s the Shrimped wrapped in rice noodles. The flavor of thesauce makes it so good! 2nd would be the Chicken Congee. This is plenty of food for 2 people, and we were starving too. Servicewas fast and friendly. Also a huge fan of the complimentary hot tea, which our server came back several times to refill. Overall good but some interesting choices in how they cook/present some of their food that tends more westernized. Soup... dumplings in actual soup - never seen or had that before even in China (soup dumplings refer to the soup inside the dumpling, there’s usually no soup outside). Chicken that came with fries and a piece of broccoli - South American style. Chicken feetthat needed more salt. If you’re American looking for authentic Chinese, you may think this passes. But if you’re Chinese, you may not recognize some of the food - doesn’t make it bad, just different. Read more

Had lunch yesterday when in Chinatown, first time here… was shopping at the supermarket next door. Had the shrimp/pork wonton... noodle soup… happy it had a vegetable…it was soothing and yammy… service was ok (it’s Chinese culture… kind of “whocares?” But it was courteous…) I noticed also they have this different type of dishes like medicinal soups, ????didn’thave the courage to try but if you are a person who understands what I am saying here then this is your place!! They all lookvery yammy (picturewise) prices were ok! Given the situation we are in and that other places charge even more (ridiculous I’dsay)….they do accept credit cards but with a $15 minimum… I was content…. Read more

Hong Kong diner style. Pretty good. Here's one of many, many selections. Pretty good steak, pork chop, tiny lamb chop and a... mediocre sausage. Comes with a sauce of your choice. I had the black pepper sauce. $23. I'd come back again to try theirother dishes. Read more

Decided to come here after doing some window shopping. Lots of different dishes that look very appealing so decided to get the... Beef Chow Fun. This is a good dish to get to see the quality of the cooking skills at any Chinese restaurant. If done right, ita good place to continue to visit. Good amount beef with a nice char and the chow fun was thick and not overly oily. There wasalot of "wok hay" so the core stayed nice and warm for the trip back home. Cash only. Read more
