Wicked Jane is a hidden gem. It was the best service at a restaurant that I've had in my whole life. They made me feel like a... part of their family. I had a lingering cough from being sick a week ago and unprompted, a member of the staff brought me a cupof hot water with lemon AND kept refilling it for me the entire dinner. So friendly and caring! And the food. WOW. Everythingwas excellent start to finish. That pork belly blew me away. Delicious. I'm shocked this restaurant wasn't busier! Only nitpickis the walls were a bit white and bare, could use some decor. But amazing place, and amazing people. I am definitely comingback. Read more

We had an absolutely fabulous dinner last night at Wicked Jane celebrating my partner's birthday! Food, service, and ambiance... were all impeccable. This restaurant was recommended as one of the newer places to try on Timeout/Resy/other review sites andwas very easy to make a reservation. Surprisingly we were the only diners last night after 8pm so it felt like a cozy privatedining event at home. Al and Troy were the only folks working in the main dining room and they took great care of us - servicewas flawless. Wine pairing was definitely one of the highlights as Al walked us through the history of each maker and gave ushelpful lesson on wine tasting. We will definitely go back and look forward to celebrating another occasion at Wicked Jane. Read more

We had a great dinner and just a terrific overall experience here. The tasting menu was a success - the duck liver mousse,... swordfish and pumpkin dessert in particular stood out. The cocktails were creative (e.g. one had a skull-shaped ice cube madewith squid ink that melted into the drink to give it a salty profile over time), while my wife had some of the wines, which sheloved. Our wine guy was excellent. He had some great recommendations and even provided some very unique tastings on the house. This is a great spot for a special occasion or if you're just in search of a terrific meal. Read more

When we walked by Wicked Jane, the Michelin award caught our eye. We decided to come back for dinner…and noticed there was... hardly anyone in the restaurant…we were confused, as there were dozens of people filling the seats in the establishments nextdoor…but still, we took a chance, and are so incredibly glad we did. There are no words to describe how stunning the serviceand food are at Wicked Jane. Oftentimes, it is the service that keeps you back to a restaurant. Other times, it is the food. Sorare these days is it to find a locale that excels at both. Wicked Jane did this in spades. Ok, lots of generalities…but now,for the specifics. The homemade sourdough and ricotta cheese was to die for. The duck was, hands down, the best and mostskillfully cooked duck I have had anywhere in the world - and I’ve eaten duck in three continents from five star chefs in eachof them. The filet mignon was creamy, buttery, and as perfect of a filet mignon as you could hope for. And the service wassublime. Thank you, Oscar and Al. Not once did we have to pour our own wine, not once did we have to ask for anything. Most ofall, we were treated not as guests, but as family. As cliché as that may be, it is the absolute truth. Lastly, concerning thesoundtrack of Wicked Jane…while it may not be everyone’s cup of tea…for this vinyl-collecting and classic rock enthusiast,it made me and my love feel completely at ease and at home. Thank you, Wicked Jane, Oscar, and Al. For the best diningexperience we have had in years…and more so…for treating us more elegantly and with more care than we could haveimagined. If you’re reading this review and made it this far, go to Wicked Jane. We promise you will not be disappointed. Read more

A Michelin star restaurant in Greenwich Village! It's the perfect ambiance for a romantic evening. The manager is a top-level... sommelier who finds superb bottles of wine (some of them quite rare) and shares generously with his guests. I loved the DomaineMichel Juillot. And the cocktails are so so good. Try the purple rain. It comes with rose ice. Read more

Our meal at Wicked Jane was excellent! The service was top notch. The setting was modern and lively but not too loud or hectic.... The dishes were creative, beautifully plated, and tasted great with some really interesting uses of seafood. The somm wasknowledgeable and made great recommendations even though we didn't do the full pairing. Maybe my only critique would be thatthe dining room was a little bare and could have more of a theme or be more eye-catching (the Michelin people seem to love stufflike that) but outside of that single element, the night was essentially flawless. Wicked Jane definitely deserves more buzz inthe NYC food scene. Thanks for the great night to all involved! Read more
