For a place that's meant to specialize in burgers this place completely misses the mark. We got the juicy Lucy (the burger this... place is famous for) and the Beyond burger and both were very lackluster. The buns were surprisingly cold, the burgers weretiny, dry and barely had anything in them. The fries had no salt and weren't good either which sucks because it's hard to gowrong with fries. Atleast we got to sit outside which was nice but would definitely not recommend this place. Read more
The Lucy juicy is one of the best burgers I've had in NYC but unfortunately it was paired with a very badly fried french fries... and onion rings also the table was dirty when we sat in (it was a busy Saturday night) my Friend noticed a spider web aswell. The staff were only 3 and so over worked between customers in the dine in and pickup orders. The place was pretty busy forwhat I experienced... But again the burger Lucy juicy is one great burger. We went here for lunch on a Friday. The place was decently occupied. What I liked about the place was they were able to make... adjustments quickly. We wanted to have a chicken burger and they got us that although it wasn't on the menu. The house salad wasgood..! The mushroom vegetarian cheese stick was tasty. Overall, we loved the taste and the quality. Service is good as well.The restaurant has priced its items just right. Read more
Originally I came in for the lamb burger — however now I’ve been coming in for the East Villi Philly. They also have a... decent whisky selection which pairs nicely ???? Haven’t been to PHL in a while, but this hits the spot. I would considerthis a casual place but nice enough that you could bring some coworkers too. They have dining tables (for 2+), some booths, andbar seating (personal fave). Read more
Whitmans Hudson Yards is a lot bigger than the one in East Village. It has warm vibes. The staff was friendly. Their burgers are... great, but they don't come with fries. Read more
Came upon this place when I was walking by. I ordered Juicy Lucy burger (Beef short rib blend stuffed with Pimento cheese;... caramelized onion, Bibb lettuce, tomato, spicy pickles, sauce, on sesame bun) and a little wolf pale ale. Everything was verygood my only complaint is they don't put their drinks and beer offerings on their menu they give you. Read more
i ordered the whitman’s classic burger (beef short rib blend patty, seared onion, lettuce, tomato, new pickles and special... sauce on a potato bun), and it was a solid burger. you can easily taste the quality of the meat— it is very apparent. i wasalso a huge fan of their pickles (amazing flavor, great crunch) and their special sauce which added a nice kick to the flavor.the ratios of all of the ingredients were perfect, and buns never became soggy. the fries were slightly lackluster. in myopinion, they weren’t seasoned enough and had a thick outer crust/layer with a bit too little potato/substance on the inside(see pictured). all in all, however, i’d highly recommend checking this place out! The staff are super friendly. Our food arrived quick and was perfect. I ordered the juicy Lucy and the blue cheese fries.
