Food is average and does not match the expectations for the price. Service is very good. Ambience is very nice. Quiet and good... for business meetings. Read more

We went with 2 other couples. It was awful—the service was terrible, the food was mediocre and the bill was too high. It took... forever for the server to take our order and once taken, it took forever for the food to arrive. We all ordered pasta except forone of us who ordered a veal chop for 70 bucks. We had a bottle of $85 white wine that was okay, a couple of cocktails and acouple of desserts. The bill was $381 with a $76 undeserved tip included. Read more

The food was good but the bread tasted really soggy and they gave us someone else’s check and we ended up paying an extra $30.... We were in a rush and hadn’t looked because we had to get back to work. I noticed the error when I got home and called thenext day at a time when I knew the restaurant wouldn’t be busy. I was told the manager isn’t there and they can’t help me.The lunch was hardly worth $80 let alone $110. Read more

Great service, food is delicious so is the wine. I totally love the ambience and my friend and I had a great time.

Good and cozy interior, especially the farthest end part of the restaurant, a kind of a small courtyard with a glass... ceiling. The service is average if sometimes slow. The food is totally average, however everything is terribly overpriced. Andwe don't mean "overpriced" compared to your average Italian eatery in NYC, not even on Upper East Side. We mean "overpriced"compared to Michelin-star Italian restaurants in Manhattan. Think Marea, Babbo or now defunct La Sirena. For example our lunchInsalata di Tonno (Seared Tuna, Romaine, Artichoke, Haricots Verts, Red Onion, Hard-Boiled Egg) which incidentally featured onemicroscopic piece of artichoke was $32.50. The Gamberoni (Sautéed Jumbo Shrimp, Scampi Sauce) which offered five shrimp andbarely anything else was priced at $36.50. We don't mind to pocket out for a good quality memorable meal but in the case orVicolina it wasn't worth it. Read more

Very nice outdoor setup... though ultimately you end up pretty much indoors. The gnocchi was delicious, good wine list and... friendly staff. Overpriced in my opinion for overall quality. The dishes are not as refined as they are seemingly intended tobe. Read more

Ate lunch outside in cunning heated shed, 43° outside, 70° in shed. Drafty. Hot and cold. Pasta with mushrooms and sausage... good. Steak with arugula salad oversalted and cold. Fried zucchini spectacular! Service very slow. Read more
