Wonderful Dinner at Verõnika ! From the Oysters to the dessert, it was pure deliciousness ! What a Beautiful experience ! The... restaurant is located inside of the Fotografiska museum (that I actually also recommend visiting) - Renaissance Revivalbuilding. You go up stairs and you arrive at another reception, check your coat and enter a beautiful lounge with a bar, agorgeous mural and beautiful Eastern European styles furnitures . I felt like I was traveling in time. Then, we entered anotherroom which is the restaurant (you can also go to Veronika or a drink in the first room)and were offered to seat. Walls aredecorated with Artworks, some from David La Chapelle (see photos). Chandeliers are spectacular ! We started our dinner with aselection of 6 oysters, were added « crudités and mayonnaise » then ordered a Salt Crusted Porterhouse (we had some leftover / it could be shared by 3 people) : 40 oz Dry aged beef with 2 sides dishes : the « frites » and « Mushrooms » thatI absolutely loved ! For dessert, we had the Verõnika Mille feuille under its Raspberry blanket : So good ! It?s on a higherbudget range but I think it is perfect for a special event. Read more

Super sexy scene with spot-on service! It?s a bit Old New York with artsy/hipster vibes. Soaring ceilings with ambience setting... lighting. The staff were in crisp uniforms juxtaposed with the creatively modern dress of the hosts. The food presentation andpreparation was equally creative and modern but not so much that they serve you a ?tasting? portion like in many gastronomicestablishments. They balanced the portions quite elegantly. Not too much. Not too little. Get the caviar and martini app! Theserve a small bump of caviar on a melon ball sized potato nestled in between their version of crème fraiche. Paired with acrisp dry martini. Oh. My. God. All the servers were attentive and engaging and boy were there a lot of them. It was a generousratio of servers to patrons and the place was bustling. If you need some place upscale yet cozy and it needs to impress, this isyour spot. I will be a regular here. If you found this review helpful, like the post or follow me. Read more

Food and ambiance was excellent. I also appreciated the effort in moving me up half an hour to a better time slot when we... arrived early. I did mention to the front of house the dinner was for my partner whose birthday it was but I think the staffforgot. We also had an issue where we got charged 3 random drinks to our bill, but was rectified when we pointed it out Read more

The restaurant ambiance is very nice and service was very good as well. However, a lot of the food was just not up to par /... tasty. I had the caviar reserve martini but it was very harsh and did not taste like a reserve vodka. We started with apps thatwere good, but the scallop I had was sandy. The fried oyster was a bit too doughy, the tuna tartar was decent. The lobsteromelette was good, but not what I expected as the lobster chunks were large. The egg texture was good but the sauce a lacking inflavor. The wagyu was also not as tender as I would?ve liked and was also lacking in flavor. The sides were ok, but I couldn?treally taste the truffle on the asparagus. The dessert was also a bit disappointing as the flambé creme caramel with saffrondidn?t taste as creamy as I would?ve liked. The umami made it taste a bit off. The raspberry Mille feuille was also missing thelayers that I was expecting. The best thing I had here was the potato with caviar that came with the martini. I probablycould?ve eaten 10 of those for dinner. Maybe people don?t come here for the food but just for the ambiance. At these pricepoints I would?ve expected better. Read more

My experience at Veronika was very average. I tried hard to like this place. My friends boasted exceptional service and great... food. I might have ordered wrong things there, but my order of wagyu strip steak at 85 USD was just all around bad. The meat wasrare (I ordered medium rare) and extremely chewy. The fries turned out soggy. I should have politely sent the whole dish backbut, unfortunately, did not. The drink was ok - I ordered their version of mojito but the liquors blended quickly and ended upthe opposite of tasty with no depth of flavor whatsoever. Might have been too much ice. Carrot cake for desert was with freshlarge chunks of carrots, I expected something more thoughtful, either marinated in liquor or less frostings perhaps. In terms ofwhat I enjoyed: the arugula salad and a mini bread basket. In short, the service was below my expectations. The waiter whoinitially started the service switched out after the entrees were served. Three different people approached us after that. Alltwo stars go to the setting. I love Fotografiska but won?t be coming back to Veronika. Read more

This place was amazing from the atmosphere to the service and the food! I practically ordered 1 of almost everything on the... menu. You cannot go wrong with anything you order here. One of my favorites were the raw oysters. They were sourced frommultiple regions, super fresh! Will be returning soon!I was invited by a friend who works there, so the meal was complimentary, but I would pay to dollar for my experience. Read more
