I literally called the restaurant to confirm they will have seating available for us. The guy didn't want to make a reservation... for us over the phone. We walked in 10 min later which we told him how long it will take and he said just come in. We get thereand he says sorry we have no tables. I told him we called. Excellent food, tiny portions, pricey, and web menu misleading. The main course, $34, sweet potato salad I had there recently... was the best I ever tasted. Unfortunately, it was a small portion and not enough for a main dish. Looking around at the fewother diners there, their servings were small also. The check includes an automatic $20 gratuity but the check also has a linefor gratuity. The menu shown on the web is more interesting and diverse than the printed menu in the restaurant. So don't goby the menu on the web. (Three of the four items I liked on the web menu were not on the printed menu.) Read more
excellent food, very pleasant servers, they brought out the main courses right after the appetizers rather than holding the... mains until we finished the appetizers so neither cooled off, it was hard to get the attention of servers even though restaurantwas less than half full. Read more
Tiberias catered a party for us and it was excellent. The food was really delicious and attractively presented. Portions were... very generous. Uri and his crew went above and beyond to help us plan every detail. He made a lot of helpful suggestions. Theycame exactly on time and set everything up beautifully. We were so so pleased and would definitely use them again. Read more
Arrived, without booking, for a very early supper and there were plenty of available tables. We both had a salmon option from... the menu, which was truly delicious, cooked to perfection and very filling. Also on the plate, fluffy mashed potatoes,mushrooms, onions and basil. The glasses we drank from, with iced water, were tilted, like the leaning tower of Pisa. The tablewas a bit wonky and furnishings, in general, a bit shabby. Nice dairy restaurant in a good location. Fast service, good food and friendly staff. Cozy environment. A little pricey but... nothing exorbitant considering it is New York City. Just up the road from the Empire State building so great location fortourist stop also. Enjoy! Read more
Would not recommend, Came here after a day on 5th Avenue looking for a good restaurant, I checked the menu ahead of time and... found the food looked good, but when we got thete there was a 20 min wait time to be seated and 10 minute wait time till thewaiter took our order. The food came and was not worth the astronomical price + the 20% mandated gratuity. It tasted like a fastfood pizza just have the size for double the prize. We then waited another 25 minutes for the bill while watching the waiterschat between themselves. Overall would not recommend. Read more
