Beautiful decor (exposed brick, high back leather booths, and Edison bulbs in industrially stylized fixtures) set the tone for... far better than average bistro fare and a small but impressive wine list (great Alsacian selections!). The highlight is theservice. The wait staff and hostess are impeccable, both kind and professional -- my waiter, Eddy, would not be out of placeserving J. Pierpont himself. I'm told there's a very fun brunch environment and the lunch specials are screaming deals. Worthyof many returns. Read more
I have to be honest, the only thing I wrote while at the writing room was my name on the bottom of the check, but The Writing... Room is a great spot to grab a cocktail and think about that next novel. It's dimly lit and fairly romantic, with photos allover the walls. The left half of the space has seating if you're looking to eat while you drink, and the right half has a largebar, in case you're looking to drink while you drink. Read more
