Reviews for The Vine in New York, NY
The Vine doesn?t live up to the atmosphere nor the prices. Drinks took longer than food to come out and are overpriced (like... everywhere else), and the food portions were minuscule. I have specific beef with the crispy chicken bao buns, two for $16, thatwere the size of sliders and had 3 ingredients. They also came with ranch dressing ????. Also, fries come as a side in entrees, but when my friend tried to order them standalone, they said ?we can?t do that.? Come on. Read more
If you are looking for good food options try other places. The cocktail I tried was good, pizza and bruschetta was good. The... options for food was a let down. At least they should explain to people that it?s mostly a cocktail place. I wish there weresome desserts and something more to eat? underwhelmed for sure. Read more
I love the food at this place and great service. The hostess gets you seated very quickly and right away there's someone there... to help you with your order. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. Read more
A little disappointed with our experience. We stayed at the Kimpton so decided to try The Vine. The waitress didn?t allow us to... finish our charcuterie and literally pulled our plates away as the main course was arriving. My friend asked for a well doneburger and when it arrived it was medium rare. She asked to switch it and again the waitress wasn?t very nice about it, eventhough it was their fault. I have asked for extra ice and it felt like they are doing me a favour by bringing. The food wasalright but the service really ruined the experience. Read more
An enjoyable lunch set in a lively restaurant tucked in the back of the Event hotel. Modern and spacious seating areas that open... up to outdoor seating facing the public plaza. Menu consists of generally healthy yet indulgent options. Delicious! Wouldcertainly come back to try out the dinner service. Read more
The Vine was a cute spot with a patio for lighter bites/ dinner. The drinks were pretty good and the Mahi Mahi bao bun special... was my personal favorite. Would definitely come again! Fun to lounge and chill, cool decor Read more
There is a very good burger on the menu. Done relatively simply, with caramelized onions, the meat is very tasty, slightly... peppery. A peppercorn sauce is served on the side. The fries are flavored with Mediterranean herbs and also taste great. It'snot cheap ($20). I had a oak-aged negroni, which was very good too. The decor is really studied and que beautiful. Overall agreat experience even though not cheap. Read more
Absolutely terrible service, waited over an hour for a club sandwich. Turns out waiter forgot to order. I had to chase him down... twice. Crazy slow and non attentive- waiter just hanging out in the corner laughing with other employees Vs serving, bar staffrude, and just hanging out. Red wine selection is consistently meh. Waited a half hour for a glass of wine while waiter islaughing in corner hanging out with other employees and bar guy is just watching sports, they need a manager here. Read more
