Tragic from start to finish, I don’t even know where to begin. They’ve run out of ingredients for a Bloody Mary in a... gastropub. Fish and chips with chips so burnt, it’s hardly recognisable. Shepherd’s pie drowning in cheese. Bellini servedas flat Prosecco in a wine glass. What an utter waste of money. Read more

Very well appointed bar and big props for having cask ale. Too bad they charge >$12 for a single pint and you also have to drink... it while being surrounded by 353325 first year associates from JP Morgan Read more

I love this place. Always great service, a well-curated selection of Bourbons, Whiskeys, and gin. Professional bartenders,... intelligent locals. Skip that faux speakeasy upstairs and go to the Shakespeare in the basement instead. Read more

Really cool pub. Love the old British style decor, which brought back my memories Of hanging out in pubs during the damp days in... the UK. Nice bartender… extra nice to me after I ordered stout. ???? Read more

This place was great! I stopped in for lunch, sat at the bar, and had a wonderful meal and conversation with the... owner/bartender, Austin. The watermelon salad was delicious and the triple cooked chips added just the right touch to my meal. The draft beer was tasty as well. Austin provided me with fantastic information about the flavors of the beer, as well asintroducing me to new distilled spirits. I highly recommend checking this place out. Read more

A friend was craving bangers and mash and had done a ton of research on where to find the best in the city. He mentioned The... Shakespeare and I had never heard of it. The next day to walked up for a quick lunch and a pint (I don’t do that often butonce and a wile I feel is fine ). I was met by a friendly bartender and a cozy room. The beer menu has lots of authenticBritish beers and some fun craft ones as well. We talked beer and distribution of beer as if we were old friends. The food menuoffers the classics and I ordered the Fish and Chips. I wanted shepherds pie but it was 92 degrees outside so saved that foranother time. Food was delicious, almost artisanal in presentation. Fries are real potatoes and came with a bright tartarsauce, a bottle of malt vinegar and one of HP (classic). All in I would say this is my new pub, and it should be yours. See youthere. Read more
