Let's start this review with a wow! What a flavorful and savory miso soup. Butter garlic fried rice excellent in texture,... flavor, and aroma. Fried scallops and tartar sauce were fresh and delicious. Miso mushroom Salmon was amazing. Perfectly cookedmeat with a slightly spicy miso glaze and perfectly charred mushrooms. Worth every penny! We had the menu for 3-4 people and it left the 4 of us happy. All the food was great, and everybody loved it, not an easy feat... with so many different flavors and palates. It all came out quickly, sometimes a bit too quickly, and yet the place was invitingand we didn't feel rushed. The waitress was very attentive and nice. Read more

Overall experience was a bit lacking but the food was pretty good. Fried chicken was a generous portion and really enjoyed the... ramen, very original taste. Unfortunately, the restaurant was freezing it seemed like the heat wasn't working at all. And ourserver wasn't very knowledgeable. Didn't have a clue about any of the wines or sake but gave us tastings so we could tryourselves. Seemed like it was his first few shifts but did make an effort. Might visit again if I were in the neighborhood butmany other places I'd prefer to try first. Read more

Food was good - loved the croquette, signature fried chicken, mushroom garlic butter fried rice. Portions are small, on the... pricier side. The place is cozy and very squished seating. Read more

This izakaya is a tiny restaurant in East Village. Reminds me of typical London Asian places where one gets awesome food. I do... digress. Excellent food. Fast and friendly service. We tried: - Corn croquettes - Shishotou peppers - Grilled mackerel -Signature chicken nanban. The croquettes were gentle and delicious The peppers were amazing. The grilled mackerel was boneless, super flavourful, and just scrumptious. The chicken was incredibly juicy, just wow. They use chicken thighs, they probably brinethem; I am not certain how they actually cook it but it tastes amazing. I just wish they served their mayo-like sauce on theside because it is rather overwhelming for this dish. Highly recommend. Read more

Every single dish we ordered was excellent, full of flavors. The venue is a little small so not good for big groups. Oh, and... it’s tapas style which just means they can charge you more money for small plates. But if you can swallow the cost, the foodis indeed tasty. Read more

Small restaurants but everything I ordered was good. Their signature fried chicken was my favorite. Very tender chicken with the... creamy sauce. The beef was also cooked very well. Read more

Really tiny place but extremely accommodating. The dishes are tiny, but you’re meant to order plenty, drink some alcohol and... have a great time. Everything was super fresh and tasty — the chicken nanban had a great sauce and was crispy. The salmonchunks were big, but fresh and delicious. The beef, i forgot which part of the cow it was, was extremely tender and flavorful.Highly recommend. Read more
