We went on a Sunday and it was absolutely packed and our order took a bit of time to come out but was served when we asked about... our food. I like the ambiance and the seats are comfortable (at least from where we were seated) I ordered the B.L.A.T and Iloved it! The proportion of the bacon, greens and avocado is just right. My husband ordered the Grey Dog Breakfast and he gotthe one with poached egg and french toast and he loved it! Read more

There?s a pleasant vibe to this restaurant. As we visited in October, they even had full autumn decorations out. Our server was... incredibly nice; the only negative to note is that my husband asked for a second beer and it never came. Food was pretty good.We shared a Brussels sprouts appetizer that was quite good. I had a margarita, which was potent and refreshing, while my husbandhad a beer. I had a pistachio avocado salad with added chicken. It was a tasty salad. The chicken was a touch dry but stillflavorful, and I ate it all. My husband had a chicken and waffles, which could have used a bit more syrup, but was still good. Our son had the grilled cheese with fries, and they were excellent. Read more

Overall a good experience. Food was good (I had the Croissant Breakfast sandwich), staff was friendly, and service was quick.... The eggs in the sandwich could have used some salt and pepper, but it's a minor complaint. 4-star rating because they do t seemto prioritize cleanliness. Cups were dingy/dirty/chipped. The ketchup bottles were all messy with old ketchup, and they weremarrying old ketchup with new and not even wiping down the bottles. That's a lazy and unsanitary move. Read more

What a delightful little breakfast/brunch place!!! We went here straight from the airport on our way into town, luggage and all,... and it was perfect! We sat in the little outside area with the fans because the A/C was broken inside. My mom ordered the GreyDog?s Breakfast with her eggs scrambled, French toast, and bacon, and it?s served with home fries. I ordered the egg and cheesecroissant minus the parsley (not my fave) and added bacon. I?m picky about my home fries, so the server offered me french friesinstead. We had exactly zero complaints about our meal. The portions are big, the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, and theFrench toast had this sweet butter with it that I can?t even compare to anything because it was so unique and delicious. Thehome fries ended up being DELICIOUS. The French fries were also good. I enjoyed the seasoning on them as well. I?m not a big fanof the thing shoe string fries, but these were good! The three employees we encountered were all very friendly and I would bemore than happy to eat here again any time. Read more

We came here not knowing anything about this place. The food arrived very quickly. We ordered a croissant sandwich for $15 and... village pancakes for $15. They were both quite good but the village pancakes were a bit underwhelming. The waiters were lovelyand fast. The restaurant itself is a lovely place with indoor and outdoor seating. Overall, I would say its a nice brunch. Read more

This was the best breakfast of our NY trip. The ambience was very friendly, the staff even more so. The food was fresh and had... enough variation to it to make it new and different while still qualifying as comfort food. I will make sure we come back everytime we are in NY. Read more

Grey Dog - 'ol reliable! Location is super cozy and low-key. Music bumps. Food was great and staff was super friendly. Inside is... sun-drenched and feels like you're somewhere outside the City. The Veggie Burger was surprisingly crispy and held togetherreally well (which can be hard to come by). The Breakfast Bowl is a hearty way to start the day (avocado hummus was 10/10). Wealso got a side of crispy beet fries which were actually the star of the show. Read more

Our breakfast plans fell through and arrived here based on menu and reviews. BEST BREAKFAST of our *trip. The plates were... flavorful (we are from the South and like some salt and seasonings!), the service was on point, and the price was expected forNY dining. We had some picky eaters with us who gobbled up the fruit pancakes and eggs and as moms we absolutely loved this! Oneof our party is legit gluten free but there were plenty of options for her so we avoided debilitating reactions which aided inloving this place. *Proof of vaccination taken seriously here and we appreciated that with the spike in COVID.
