I can't understand how this place gets 4.5 stars in reviews. The food is not good at all. I ordered a chicken and it was hard as... a rock and tasted like pork. My friend ordered a fish that did not taste like anything and the presentation of the dish wasterrible, it seemed as if it was lying on the plate. We ordered an octopus starter and it was the only more or less decentthing. In general, everything is very bad for such high prices and such low quality. The gentleman who welcomed us at the door was awesome too. We had a small dog and as soon as I asked him if we can sit inside... with the dog he said:”of course, your dog is welcome inside too”. Vivi was great too. She was very professional and nice.Very natural nothing fake, and no bite bone on her. Caring about time our choices of food and recommend. She was awesome. One of my favorite places. Not only are they an amazing restaurant, but they have a small market to buy some pastries and Greek... based ingredients. My girlfriend and I had the delight of having Shelly as our waitress and she was amazing, always intuitiveand gave us a fun experience! Ask for her if you ever visit! Read more

Tribeca has come a long way. Now there are $10 million apartments and the streets are very clean and empty. Now when you walk up... to The Greek you feel like your somebody living in those high-rises. Enter the Greek and it’s like you’re taking a trip tonorthern Greece. It’s a beautiful rustic wood motif with quaint lighting. We were greeted and sat by a very friendly hostesswho happened to be the owner as well. Katerina was very warm and inviting. We started with a Greek Salad and Saganaki. TheSaganaki was drizzled in honey. What a great touch. (See below) The bread and olives were a nice touch too. Then the octopuscame out. It was cooked to perfection. From the octopus we went to the bifteki was over fries. What a taste. The preso wasgreat and the taste was just as good. Then there was desert. Halva!!
