We just ordered mojitos to sit and relax by the pier. The ambience is nice. They had live jazz music going on when we were... there. Overall it was a refreshing experience! Would visit again! Read more

This place was amazing from the ambience and views to the menu. Everything we ordered did not disappoint but an absolute must... have appetizer would be the fried shrimp and also the warm octopus with fresh mozzarella I can assure you, you haven’t hadoctopus like this before. The pepper encrusted steak was also a must have and the strawberry potted plant dessert just to name afew items. Excellent service including the floor manager making sure everything came out to perfection. Read more

I must say that the Fulton is one of my best restaurants I new york so far. The food is absolutely superb, the ambiance is... stunning, and the service is usually impeccable. We are regulars that usually frequent here and never not impressed by thisluxurious restaurant. We dined at the Fulton yesterday on May 28th at 8 and the host 1st didn't seat us in the dining room arealike I requested in my reservations that I made weeks ago. I was puzzled that she didn't read my reservation notes but I justasked to seat us in dining room and it was no problem there. She was kind and accommodating. She did at a two seating table. Weare big food orders. We usually order 3 appetizers, an entrée, then dessert... we need a nice size table to handle our foods. When the appetizers arrived there was absolutely no room to even place our earing plates on the table. The 2 table seats on thebottom 1st floor of the dining room are too small for us. So we asked the waiter to seat us at another table ( a 4 seater table)so it could accommodate us. He didn't accommodate us because all the tables that were empty he said people of 4s may be comingto fill those seats. It sounded logical be we still had to adjust out whole table just to eat. But we said okay. The problemcame when the empty table by us that we requested earlier was now being seated by only two people that didn't even order as muchas we did but they came later than us and was seated there. That did not sit well with us and kinda was annoyed the rest of thedinner. The food again continues to be superb and amazing. The ambience is always magical but lastnight we were kind ofdisappointed that the service didn't accommodate us. I thought that it was a bit bias that a table we earlier requested wasdenied because the table was set up for 4 and that we were only two, and that same table just 10 mins later was seated by thehost a party of 2. I would give my experience a 5 star like I usually experience. But lastnight unfortunately Read more

A very nice environment to take lunch or dinner. Banana ice cream is so delicious from the Chocolate Peanut Cake, I really love... it. Fresh Tagliatelle is also an excellent dish. Read more

I read several reviews that said Fulton was one of the best seafood restaurants in Manhattan so I was eager to try it. It's a... bit of a trek from midtown, but I figured it would be worth it for great fish. Unfortunately, on a number of fronts Fulton wasa big letdown. Starting with the food; it was just ok. When you're paying $78 for Dover sole it shouldn't be undercooked. Theshrimp cocktail wasn't very fresh; the salads we ordered (see pictures) were unappetizing and went nearly uneaten. We didappreciate our waitress who did a good job dealing with the limitations she had to work with. At one point, she mentioned thatshe would speak to the manager about giving refills of iced tea to our teenage sons. As a result, unfortunately we ordered manymore teas and and then we we're charged for each of them. The manager told us that our waitress had spoken to him about the icedtea but he was going to charge us anyway because that was Fulton's policy. Further, he said in that Manhattan's top restaurantsdon't offer free refills. Postscript: in the following days we ate at Gramercy Tavern and Avra-- both gave us free refills. Read more

Prepare to impress your taste buds. If you're down by the pier and looking for the ultimate ambience, excellent drinks, and melt... in your mouth seafood, you've come to the right place. The warm octopus with mozzarella is a must order, a perfect pairing oflemon zest and fresh cheese to go with the octopus. Sashimi was silky smooth. Arugula avocado salad was a crowd favorite.Scallops were also the group pleaser for the night. Everyone left satisfied! Read more

Went for lunch at around 1pm. It was not crowded at all. The hostess sat us promptly and table service was just as quick. Our... waiter was great- he answered all of my questions and seamlessly rattled off all the dishes, ingredients and recommendations. Wehad the salmon, swordfish sandwich, red snapper ceviche and the octopus and mozzarella- which was deliciously salted with lemon(my new favorite appetizer.) we did not have desert but next time I will as I now regret not trying the blood orange custard. Myfork fell on the floor and within seconds I was brought a new one. Great service, atmosphere, location and staff. Willdefinitely return. My only issue was the espresso flavor could have been a little richer. Great experience! Read more

We had a celebration dinner at The Fulton and it was absolutely incredible. The ambiance, service, attention to detail and... flavors of food & drinks were impeccable. The swordfish was so flavorful & the texture unique — the sweet ginger dressingadded a beautiful layer of complexity to the dish. We were obsessed with the crab lettuce cups — fresh, light & easy to eat.We were tempted to order more! I wish there were 4-5 instead of 3 on the plate. The Beet appetizer was so smooth &full-flavored. The yogurt offset the crisp of the apple really nicely! Good for 3-4 people to share. The calamari app had beencooked to perfection — crisp & flavorful plus it had a little kick on the side of it too! Great for a table of 5 to shareeasily. Dessert was also tasty — I had the fig tart with honey ice-cream & devoured it. I am completely obsessed with thisexperience and cannot wait to go back for another special dinner. We went right at 5pm and the timing was spectacular becausewe had nice views of the Brooklyn Bridge in daylight and then lit up in the evening. They even honored my request in thereservation for a table that had nice views of the water — love when there is thought and attention to that. We will beback!! Read more
