Pay for overpriced drinks if you wish! I ordered the Bees Knees drink off of their menu that was listed as a $17 drink. I paid... with my credit card. After receiving the drink I looked at the receipt and the drink total was $33.00 ! The price breakdown waslisted as follows.... $17 drink, $11 Beefeater Gin (which I didn't ask for) Gratuity $5 And on that receipt was a suggestionfor an additional tip gratuity? I think i paid more than enough. What an insult! I come out to have a good time. Not to be takenadvantage of by these ridiculous rates. Two thumbs down! Read more

We learned, after heading to the bathrooms upstairs, there is two very separate vibes upstairs and down. The upstairs is... cabaret, and night club-esque, while the downstairs is a piano bar and more chit-chat with your counterparts and sing along. Westayed on the bottom floor.... for many many hours (had we known about the cabaret earlier, we may have started there andmigrated down). We bellied up to the bar about 10pm, started making friends around 11pm, and headed out around 2am. Thebartenders were attentive, fun to joke around with, and INCREDIBLE singers. Not living in NYC, this bar came as a recommendationI am so grateful for the recommendation. We will be back! Read more

Cool karaoke bar with good drink options. High energy and good singing, including the bar crew.

This place was so much fun. I went on Friday night with my sister because, she got invited by her friend. We thought it would be... a minimum of two drinks stated on the flier but we realized it's just like any bar. The location was small but, we got seatsright away as we entered. The karoke was fun because we had a choice of picking a song to sing our selves, have anyone sing itor one of the servers or bartender would sing. The bartender there had such a beautiful voice. They had a club upstairs as well.I would visit again to have another fun night. Read more

Saw a really cool 2 person show here called 100 days. Really nice performance space for some an intimate play. Hung around and... had drinks after. Decent prices and good energy. Little crowded (but where isn't on a Saturday. Wait staff was very friendly.Only critique is signage for the performance could've been a little better. Would love to see the other shows put on here. Theprograms were done with a QR code. It would've been nice to have paper programs, but that's just my taste. Mixed drinks lookeddangerously interesting. Read more

Cozy space in the upstairs Cabaret. Bathroom for the upstairs & downstairs bars, and cabaret are up at the top of the stairs and... as one who needs a cane for supportv this isn't an ideal reality. Nevertheless, the show "David Coleman's CD release party wasOffvThe Hook. He killed it. Buy his CD "Let the Music Take Control." Read more

Masks and proof of vaccination including boosters are required and checked at the door. The cabaret was small and intimate... holding about 50 people. The music of Jessie and Michael was absolutely fabulous. The only thing was that it took an hour toleave because of all the checks were payed after the program was over. There was also a mix up with my friend's credit card andhe had to search for the waitress to retrieve it. In spite of the issues I would definitely return. Read more

I work security at the Duplex, this is a Piano bar/lounge. This is a fun place to be, the bar and drinks are great. The Duplex... has been around for about 70 years, it's a legendary place. Everytime I work there I usually have fun. Read more
