Yesterday me, my sister and our friend visited The Counter for the first time. Thanks to the care of the administrator and the... waiter, we got the feeling that we had come to our favorite place. Everything we ordered was very tasty and made from freshingredients. The burgers were exactly the roast that we ordered, the burgers were juicy, fragrant and tasty. The French frieswas great: cut into small slices, which made me very happy, deliciously cooked [not overdried] and lightly sprinkled withpaprika. We regretted that we only ordered one serving of it. We will definitely visit The Counter again when we will be in NYafter week. Thank you very much to the owners and employees of this place for the respect of people. Read more
Definitely hard a good vibe, inside and outside seating, not too crowded but decently packed for a Saturday night. The food was... good, will skip the onion rings next time. Great mocktail! Had a homeless man bother us while seating out, went inside and hadhim follow us in. Commend the staff's handling of the incident while respecting the dignity of the young man. Read more
We stopped in while walking around NYC and didn't expect a lot from the food. We were pleasantly surprised! The burgers were... juicy and seasoned, and the fries crispy. Service wasn't great but the food more than made up for it. Read more
Not a huge fan of hamburgers...but this one was absolutely amazing! Not giving it a 5 star, since the service was not 100% on... point. Waitress forgot part of our order. Who seemed to be the manager looked a bit upset at one of the waitresses and did notspeak to her in the nicest way. Will definitely go back to this place again for the food! :) Read more
This burger joint is average at best. I was shocked that the burger buns were dry. Don?t get me wrong, the burger was edible but... I decided to dine in due to the overwhelmingly positive reviews. To be blunt, the burger on Amtrak cafe is way tastier. Thisone just looks pretty and instagramable, but not worth the price you pay. Read more
The burger was good but nothing to write home about. The onion rings weren't onion rings but rather those salad chip ring things... but the sauce saved the moment. Not worth the whopping $16 price tag still I would probably try it again w/o the ring things Read more
Fascinating!!! They were able to seat and serve my friend, and I quickly, despite being packed. The food was delicious, and meat... juicy and savory. The waitress was incredibly helpful, and kind! Even holding on to a bag I accidentally left behind until wecould come back and grab it! The only downside is the wish I could've given our waitress a bigger tip! Read more
