5-star review for the iced latte. And they make it so fast. And it?s so delicious. Pastries and food not the highlight for me

I love this place and regularly come here for my morning coffee. If you don't stop by for some morning pick me up, you are... missing out. I would highly recommend the egg and cheese as well. It is perfect. Also, I love the fact that it is locally ownedis great. You could go to big coffee, or you can support Sam who happens to live upstairs (I think?) Their jams are always onpoint too. So if you need some more great coffeehouse chill jams, swing by. Read more

Very cute little cafe. Avocado toast is on a baguette with chili flakes. I also had the oat milk latte which was delicious.... Outdoor seating available. Read more

Great matcha. Salads look good on the menu, but it?s just tossed refrigerated stuff with no effort put into it (or dressing),... and they charge $17 for it, so I think you should have some high expectations. ?Grain salad? with barely any grains. Music isnice but too loud. From time to time is fills up with loud-speaking corpo people. Not a good place to study or work unless youbring earplugs. So much wasted potential! Read more

Small local place, where you can grab a sandwich or coffee. Friendly staff. A sign on the door says that no laptops or tablets... are allowed after lunch time. Read more

THE COUPLE ? Brunch hard or go home?????????????? ? THE COOKBOOK ? Egg Sandwich - scrambled eggs, white cheddar & chili flake... served on a brioche bun, topped with bacon and avocado . Tortilla Hash - egg, potato, rosemary, white cheddar and avocado ? THECHEF ? ?Local New Yorkers tend to look for Mom and Pop places, you know, something unique. When we opened The Common?s back in2011 there was nothing like it in Chelsea. It all started with just 4 neighborhood friends who shared the same love for greatfood. We came up with the concept of a neighborhood spot, a place where you'd want to hang out. A place that served really goodcoffee and delicious food, while using the best ingredients. With time the idea blossomed into the concept of an ?all-daycafé?. The Common?s was the name of our high school cafeteria, a place where we used to mingle and hang out and therefore theperfect name for our café. . Working as a team of four business partners can be quite challenging and is definitely anexperience in its own. There are moments where we disagree, but everyone has their own role, their specialty, their defined jobwithin the business. That?s how we are able to work successfully as a team. We constantly check in on each other, whilemaintaining respect towards one another's field of responsibilities and expertise. It's important that we look at things fromdifferent angles, so we definitely promote open dialogue. Generally, I try to see feedback in a constructive way, try to see itfrom an outside perspective in order to improve and grow. . Now that we've opened our second restaurant Motel Morrissuccessfully, our next goal is to change things up a little bit at the Commons, kind of like a facelift?. It?s like being in arelationship, if you do the same things for several years, in the beginning it?s great and exciting, but after six or sevenyears it might not be as exciting any longer. The Common?s is a great brand, it?s our brand and we are proud of it. We want to k Read more
