The decor is very modern with a nice setup where all seatings face the chef. The crispy rice pieces are great, should try. The... sushi rolls are fair in both taste and presentation. I think having one end slightly flare out would increase appeal wheningredients are visible. The roll itself hides everything that are inside. Taste: good but not enough variation and mixture ofingredients in each roll. Usually halfway through you would get tired of the monotonous taste. Best sushi I have ever had. Everything was delicious and made to perfection. I enjoyed the atmosphere, vibe, and friendliness of... staff. I was looking for something unique, delicious, with variety and they delivered. Thiago made exquisite recommendations.When you are there you MUST try: soy butter crab roll (super different, your taste buds will thank you), scallop handroll (superfresh, great texture), and crispy rice miso avocado (great combination of texture, amazing taste, crispy perfection). I was impressed with the attention to detail, freshness and flavours. I tried their sampler platter and loved everything, and I... really liked that they didn’t skimp on the fresh fish. You got a decent amount of salmon, tuna, yellow tails, crab, lobster,etc, in your rolls. Their sauces were yummy too. Highly recommend. Read more
We came here for dunch (late lunch early dinner) and got the hangry set of 6 hand rolls for $36 and it was amazing. We were... helped by Rich and he prepared and served each roll in a timely manner so we were never rushed or waiting for the next roll.Each roll was delicious and conversation was great. We also tried the high standard which is a must try and very IG-worthy.Highly recommend trying this east village gem! Read more
