I am working under the assumption... that the owner truly is addressing the concerns I raised in my original review and therefore I am removing that factor out of myoriginal "two star" rating and am only taking into consideration the food, atmosphere, value, and other employee interactionsinto my review - I am raising the start level to a "4 star". Pretty good prices in the city for good food. The service was also attentive to our large group. One of the suggested bottles of... wine was actually not great and so be careful about just accepting one without tasting it. The second type of wine brought outafter had a suspicious corking but turned out to be good wine as did another. Pasta and pizza were great. The bruschetta was notwhat I'd expect typically from an app with just one piece of bread with a mound of the filling on top but tasted okay. My family and I had an absolutely amazing time. We were treated like family and felt like home. Food was delicious and always... fresh. Our server's name was Piero, he was very knowledgeable on all the food, specially on the wine's. They have a greatselection of wines. Read more
Love this wine shop. They have a good selection of drinks and eats. We stopped in for drinks after dinner and had the most... delightful server at the bar - Stephen. Nice decor and ambience in restaurant and had our meals served quickly. Had the spaghetti with clams but there was way too much... grit and sand in most bites. Told by he manager that it's a sign of them being fresh, which may well be the case but I'm fairlycertain they are supposed to be purged of the sand. At least that's my experience of previous restaurants serving the samemeal. Wood fired pizza had a nice base but totally drowned in rocket. Read more
Modernized authentic Italian in a great location downtown Manhattan. The service was fantastic. I was very... intrigued/impressed by the options they presented for Gluten, dairy, vegan etc. They had dairy free and vegan cheese. They hadimpossible meat...gluten free pasta options etc. All of this while continuing to offer traditional Italian options. I felt itwas quite nice that people who otherwise may not have been able are able to experience great food here! Read more
This family and date-friendly Italian spot has a menu full of wood-oven pizzas (which seem like the fan favorites), seafood... staples, and other Italian dishes served in a bustling and approachable space. The food and service were both enjoyable (more sofor the very reasonable price point), though they are not trying to push any culinary boundaries.
