They are a take-out and delivery Chinese restaurant. But, they have some high chairs and tables inside. Cooking is 3 out of 5,... customer service is 4 out of 5, and cleanness is 2 out of 5. Their menu is big. The price is reasonable. Location is very good. Read more

The food is ok. But the meal is to me not full for 18 dollars beef broccoli pork fried rice. The owner is nice but the food is... meh! I had better. But look there is not allot of Chinese restaurant in Manhattan mostly in Brooklyn and Bronx. The texture isok. But expensive. They said do to COVID I believe they had to raise the price. But check out out your taste buds might bedifferent than mines. Lol! Read more

I was not supposed to go to this place after i saw not so great reviews, but could not find the other place, so in my journey... here comes this place. First off they have a dirty hand sanitizer dispenser first strike. Ordered shrimp fried rice get it tothe office. Rice isn’t fresh then i found this little object in it. I said Lord bless this food i’m still going to eat it.Little hungry. Lesson learned. I Don’t Recommend ???? Read more

Ordered Orange Chicken over the phone for pick up. I was suspicious when the restaurant said it would only take 5 minutes. I... personally know how to make Orange Chicken and have had it at several restaurants in my lifetime. This chicken was extremelystale, and dry. The orange glaze barely covered the chicken and it was extremely soggy. Even the white rice was not cooked allthe way. Read more

No idea what all the reviews are about, the food is great! As a note, they serve American Chinese food, not traditional, maybe... that's what threw everyone off?? I got the general choy and egg fried rice, both were awesome! I also ordered the veggie lomein, I personally wouldn't get it again but it was still pretty good. Will definitely order from here again. As a note, mygeneral choy and rice weren't even in the same container, so the review where the rice had tons of sauce on it, is also prettyconfusing. Read more

The worst Chinese food I have ever had in the city and I'm that person that will finish a dish even if it's not great. Had to... throw this out half way if not I probably would have gotten sick. Food tasted old, burnt, overly greasy and bland even though Iasked for it to be extra spicy. Felt like I was chewing into an ashe tray. Pretty sure my food had been sitting there for sometime and reheated, stuck to the bottom of the wok. FYI, I didn't mix the sauce with the rice, that's grease. Read more

Taste Chinese Restaurant is exactly what you'd expect and want should you stumble upon it. Their General Tso's is among the best... I've had. You can ask for dishes with varying levels of spice. This is great for me, considering I love mine extra hot. Tastehas all the classics / staples and then some. I really appreciate that they are super close to a metro station I typically use.The service is decent, food is always prepared by the time I arrive, but still hot. The service is great even though I've hadsome of my friends say they struggled when ordering over the phone. The food is all made to order, so you're never gettinganything stale. I definitely would not say this place is upscale or even the best Chinese in NYC - but it's always gotten thejob done at a reasonable price. Read more
