An authentic ramen place near Times Square with flavour profiles stemming from Japan. The chef and owner had worked in Japan for... 11 years and brought his expertise with his first restaurant in 2011. Nevertheless, the ramen was delicious and comparable tosome stores in Tokyo! During the visit, we were seated in the bar area, where we saw the chef and staff cook and assemble ourorders. We ordered the Karage Ponzu and Tonkotsu Ramen with Roast Pork. Karage was extra hot and flavourful. The ramen broth wasdelicious, the noodles were cooked well and the presentation was great. The food and vibes were great all around. They takecash or credit (tourist-friendly) and staff members were very quick to order, provide service and fill your waters (withoutasking). Would come back to try more ramen on the menu! Read more

We ordered Tonkotsu Ramen, cold noodle and tuna sushi for small lunch. There were two weird points. One is the Japanese cold... noodle served with a small plate of yellow mustard. Another is that Japanese restaurant does not have wasabi. I asked forwasabi but they said no. Read more

When I tell y'all that this food tastes like heaven......oh my god! I ordered Takoyaki (a regular Japanese restaurant order for... me) and the Tabata Ramen and I will not get over how fresh, delicious and flavorful every single bite was. This place is anexperience and I highly recommend it. I stopped by on my way somewhere else, just happened to see the little place on the blockI was on and I'm so glad I decided to check it out. Everyone needs to try the ramen, it's nothing like I've ever had before andI'm obsessed. Read more

Had a really nice lunch at Tabata! This is a no thrills restaurant but very good food. The staff was attentive, and the... restaurant was clean (except there was some gnats flying around). For a quick lunch, especially on a cold day, this place isperfect! The broth was definitely the highlight of the ramen. Read more

No frills, good ramen. Server can come across a bit grumpy and abrupt but I think this is part of the authentic charm, don't... take it too seriously. Ramen was fine on a cold night out Read more

Awesome spot for Ramen. I tried their Spicy Miso Vegetarian Ramen, and it was one of the best I?ve had. The bowl had lots of... veggies and the taste of the ramen was great. They also include condiments in the table. Would definitely return. Read more

Awesome! Our first place to eat in the City and it was perfect. We really needed this cozy place with hot soup after a long cold... day of traveling. Their ramen?s have flavorful broth and a well balanced mix of meat & veggies. We tried the Shumai steamedshrimp dumplings that were delish! There was plenty of food and the price was right. The house sake is the perfectaccompaniment. I highly recommend this little gem. Read more
