Wanted to try omakase so we decided to come here for restaurant week! Do note that restaurant week wasn't part of the menu, you... have to ask! Restaurant week 2022: $60 for 12 PCs + 1 hand roll We got here around 6pm and the place was packed. Makereservations! Our first six pieces were okay. I liked the ones with yuzu and uni! The wasabi wasn't overly powerful. Now, thesecond set of six pieces were unique and the added flavor of black garlic and spicy oil really kicked it up a notch. The mostinteresting piece had to be the with a fried tomato on top of salmon. The hand roll was eh. Just spicy salmon and rice, nothingspecial. Read more

hands down the best dining experience of my life. so much care put into every dish, and attention to detail is through the roof,... down to the specific glasses and cups that match each drink, and unique coasters for each cup. the chef even took time to sharephotos of him choosing the specific fish he was serving us. what a magical experience. One of the original modern Omakase bars, they use ingredients like truffle foam, fois gras, chili oil, and caviar liberally. The... quality has remained strong after all these years, and it’s now an overlooked option with the east village gaining so many newOmakase spots in the last 3-4 years. Good value at under $100, missing max though. Read more

The food is immaculate, the omakase option and I do not regret it. There are things in this world that should be cherished and... this place is one of them. The indoor seating is very private (thank you covid LOL) there is out door dining available but I dosuggest that you book a reservation. This is the best sushi I have had EVER. Each piece was very unique and yet they all marriedwell. The sushi rice had distinct taste to it as well, some what sour but still firm and tasty. Each piece ? Creative and yetthe flavors marry so well. Read more

Went in on a Friday night feeling thirsty for some sushi/sashimi. The set up is good at the sushi station. You will get... chopsticks for your sashimi, and you will use you hands for the sushi. Food quality is very good, if not fantastic, and the wayit’s being served is genuine a pleasure experience. For sashimi, you will be presented with delicate set up with decorations. That pretty standard. And, then, for the sushi, you will be served one sushi at a time with everything controlled by the chefhimself. The wasabi is already under the fish with just the right amount for me, and the rice is cooked to the perfecttemperature, perfect sweetness, perfect viscosity, that’s where your pallets got indulged and tempted. It’s just THE WAY toenjoy your sushi! Now the downside, there are somewhat distractions from my point of view, the gold foils, the wagyu beef, thetruffle, and something else I can’t spell it now. I mean, those might be something attractive for some people, but I’m not abig fan. I think sushi supposed to be just about the fish, but less decorative ingredients, that took away the enjoyable textureof the fish. Also it’s not cheap. Read more

Very good omakase. Loved the creative sushi and good quality fish. Not traditional, but still good. I would have given it 4... stars if it wasn’t for the sushi rice. It was slightly too hot, vinegary and way too mushy. It threw off the taste anddistracted me from the amazing fish. Read more
