This omakase experience was both satisfying and affordable! There wasn't a piece that I didn't enjoy, and the setting was hip... yet intimate. Would probably come back for a casual treat myself dinner :) Read more

It was definitely a delightful experience and we enjoyed all the sushi. There were 12 pieces omakase sushi courses. We were... hesitant to walk in when we found out the dress code was business casual (on the confirmation email), but it all turns out fineas people didn?t really take it seriously. The only thing that bothers me is the meal ended with a eel sushi, which was quiteweird as it leaves a strong sauces taste in our month at the end. I?ll give it a 4.5 star and looking forward to visit again! Read more

For $50, the omakase was high quality and filling. The vibe is also incredible. The bar is a great spot for drinks. Highly... recommend a few hand rolls as well. Read more

Was looking for a dinner spot before going to the John Legend concert at MSG, and didn't want a heavy Korean BBQ meal, and Sushi... by Bou was a perfect choice! First time here, and loved the hip hop vibe, with the Biggie wall art and music selection. Walkedthrough the lobby of Hotel 32 32, and arrived early, so we grabbed a drink in the speakeasy bar in the back. I got the gingerhighball, which was very refreshing, with yuzu and fresh ginger, my two favorite cocktail ingredients. I opted for the longer 1hour Bougie omakase, which includes 17 pieces plus a handroll for $100, and it was def worth it. Each piece was amazing, servicewas phenomenal and our chef was very engaging and funny (ugh I forgot to ask for his name!). Definitely one of the best omakaseexperiences I've had so far and highly recommend! Read more

I love this place. Peter, our chef is amazing. Best time! BEST SUSHI!! Omg. We used to go to sushi by bou when we lived in NYC... bc $50 omakase for 10-12 pieces is amazing!!! But now that we moved to LA we miss it everyday!!!! So everytime we come back toNYC we go to this sushi by bou. It's amazing and we adore Peter! Whenever we come to nyc we stay a week and we go twice a week, three if I can fit it in. Favorites is wagyu uni, salmon yuzu. The heaven sake flight goes well with the omakase. AMAZING. Lovethis place. I wish they had one in LA. sushi by bou, open up in LA. Read more

This is my go to spot for affordable yet delicious omakase in the city! For $50 you get 12 pieces of fresh sushi - my favorite... is the surf & turf, scallop and toro. The vibes is also very trendy and fun with a hip hop theme. It is ?timed? for 30 minutesbut you don?t feel rushed at all. If you arrive before your seat is available there is a bar area in the back for you to grab adrink first. Looking forward to coming back again! Read more
