Walked in to redeem my free drink, and the guy at the register took my phone and tap the ?redeemed? button in my app, and then... said you owe me 49 cents. I said ?Why? The drink is free!? He said 49 cents is a tax you have to pay on the drink. This guy alongwith the owner or a manager of this location is either were told to act stupid not to accept the coupons for some reason or heis allegedly sabotaging someone?s business. So, I am trying to file a complaint with the headquarter. We will see. One morethought guys, this is not America here anymore, this is a country that is worst than any other developing, poorest country inthe world in general and a customer service in particular. The old guy who serves with big smile is always kind and so nice to his customers. He remembers me and my bf's name, and he... makes us happy. We are happy customers with him. Read more

The upper hand that this subway had over others was the $7.61 combo for almost all subs as part of the student discount, but... that is now gone; they only offer a 10% discount like all others in the area. What makes this subway be the worst now is thatthey also charge $1 for a refill, something that no other subway in the area does. I understand that you don't want peoplerefilling again and again, but you could at least allow for one refill. I recommend others to just walk to the subway a blockaway from this one on third avenue and 27th street that allows for refills, has the 10% discount, more sitting space, and aworking AC during the summer. What a shame. Read more
