I ordered $42.73 at this Starbucks location. It was a moderate busy but only because there were two staffs. While I understand... the job is more challenging with two staffs, the atmosphere was not friendly at all. The cashier was already not having it whiletaking my order. While waiting for my order, the first drink was ready (out of the four). I asked/said, ?hi, i ordered threemore drinks. I was wondering how long the three drinks are going to take?? The barista (who I understand is working alone makingthe drinks) gave me a moody reply that it?s going to be a few minutes. AGAIN, I understand he?s working alone. I asked for anestimate time. He said 6min. I had to leave and told him if he can cancel the 3 drinks. On my way out I hear him proceed to saysomething. I love Starbucks. & I also work in the restaurant industry, regardless how busy atmosphere gets, how youapproach/give service is important. Got my Chai Latte this morning from the 36th and Madison location in NYC. The staff there were all friendly, pleasant,... professional and provided swift and excellent service. Pleasant and unhurried feel, lots of seating for a Manhattan Starbucks. Got an espresso macchiato & was surprised by its quality... and smooth taste, not bitter like at some Starbucks.
