I ordered a coffee and was not informed it was going to be a pour over. I came between 7am-7:30am. Why is pike not brewed?
Not organized & sometimes served not-freshly-brewed hot coffee. No dedicated staff to prepare food when printed orders piled up.... Two just keep taking orders when just a few many people on the line. I was told ?not that fast? when I asked about my mobileorder. Literally, I stand there for 20 minutes & watch how they operate - rarely attended to food. When I ask for refund, I wastold to wait, & they just continue to take orders one after one. Read more
A busy and generally clean Starbucks but with some personnel and safety problems. Servers and customers are often not wearing... masks properly or at all while behind the counter or on line. One barista in particular was surly and rude to us (maskedcustomers following the rules) when we asked to use the bathroom while waiting for our order. It's gotta be rough to be incustomer service during the pandemic but these baristas (and their unmasked police force customers) need to do better. Read more
I don't understand how this location can have the slowest internet of any Starbucks in the city (and I've worked from many)... given it is literally inside Verizon's lower Manhattan data hub. The staff also has a habit of forgetting/losing orders. Prepareto wait ages and/or have to ask for your order twice. It is however spacious with a good variety of seating. I can't lie I loved it. This Starbucks is how it use to be back in the 2000's but with an up to date vibe. It is spacious and... comfortable. Here you don't need to rush out. Too many Starbucks now is stand, drink and go. Or they have those really harduncomfortable stools. Only thing missing here for me is the biscotts in the glass jars and ceramic cups to stay of course. It's hard to say anything bad about Starbucks, even though this happens to be a new store recently opened. The design and layout... is well thought out. The atmosphere is welcoming as are all Starbucks. There are no product complaint, however service wasneglected. There was only one barista on duty at the time of my visit. I waited about 10 minutes for service. And since no onegoes to Starbucks for a regular cup of coffee, the special brew and the mixing processes requested can be quite vexing to thewaiting customer next in line. This is not a bad review. I'm sure service will improve by the time this review is posted. Iwork near this store and will definitely give this Starbucks another try. Read more
