This was an incredible find. My husband wanted to eat pasta before the marathon and here is where we arrived. Delicious... minestrone soup and mixed salad primi - the fresh pasta was incredible and the tiramasu was better than I've had anywhere inItaly. With no corkage on the byo wine! Could not recommend this higher. Read more

Both pastas were delicious. The fettuccine bolognese was flavourful. The squid ink linguini was a bit on the salty side today.... Give them a try, good value in the area. Read more

Extremely delicious. Highly recommend the penne with tomato and mozzarella sauce (not officially on the menu). Perfectly al... dente pasta, and bright/rich tomato sauce. It?s a dish you?ll be craving for weeks afterward. Read more

Fantastic Italian Cafe, possibly the best in Manhattan. Their dishes are authentic yet unique. The owner and staff are attentive... and proud of their offerings. Outside seating on a low key side street. Highly recommended. Local tip...bring your own wine. Read more

I always walk by this place and I never got the chance to try until few weeks ago. I was hyperexcited to see it was my lucky day... and they were open ( don't forget it's close on sundays) after having a warm greeting from I assumed is the owner of the smalland cozy restaurant. I decided to try squid ink linguine pasta with shrimp and squid which it was delightful and delicious tohave, fresh ingredients and endless flavors open view to the neighborhood with this nice weather. Therefore, after that warmmeal I ordered a dessert as well, It could be more excited if the dessert was a bit cooler than it was but definitely the freshtouch of strawberries didn't go unseen in my plate. I highly recommend this small restaurant, it may seen a bit small but theyhave good food to offer. I am looking forward to going back soon! Thanks for your hospitality! Read more

Spectacular little place. Owner is real deal northernItalian, a Gianelli lookalike. His food is as elegant and Italian as his... demeanor. Amazingly fresh and flavorful salads, NOT OVERDRESSED ( mine tonight was fennel and apple with pignoli anddressing), and tonight I had the eggplant rollatini appetizer as a main course. I neglected to photograph it because I wasstarved, so I apologize. My SO had black linguine with shrimp, calamari, and an elegant tomato coulis. The dessert Luigisuggested was a new addition: a ricotta cheesecake. For me, it was more of a ricotta filling hiding within soft and fragrantcake layers. Don?t split hairs- it was yummy. Please come here during the upcoming summer nights and dine al fresco. BYOB, noliquor license. No Espresso machine either, but I could care less. He does a big takeout business as well. Couldn?t recommendthe place more highly. Read more
