This is the best vegan restaurant and one of my favorites, and I’ve only tried two of their items - the Dan Dan noodles and... the chili oil wontons. Both are incredible, unique flavors. The food is such a standout at this establishment. I’ve broughtmultiple people here with me and they’ve all been so amazed by the food as well. I will definitely be coming back. The serviceis also very kind, they brought us hot jasmine tea refills which was fantastic! You must try the dan dan noodles! Read more

Was recommended by a friend, now I recommend to ppl who wanna try Asian vegan food. The comment is based on a non-vegan person... (me.) I came with my vegetarian friend for lunch and we enjoyed the meal a lot! The food is delicious in general. I personallynot like food that is trying to mimic meat, so we skipped all dishes like that, focusing on veg and tofu. ???????My favorite isDan Dan noodles which is mild spicy. ?Scallion pancake was good as well. My friend liked the spicy tofu bun the most. Thefried mushroom bun was good too! So did the steamed veg dumplings.. Read more

???? Dan Dan Noodles - a must try and I also got impossible beef in it. It was perfectly spicy and flavorful ???? Tofu Bun -... this was a bit bland and dry so it can be skipped! ???? curry puff -the filling was delicious with potatoes and spices! I lovethe vegan Szechuan spin here. Fast casual dining spot. Dishes are pricey but this spot should be a must if you enjoy vegan food! Read more

What's with knocking off one of the stars? The beer was not served cold enough! Come on! When it's hot and sticky in New York,... you have to serve your beer ice cold! It's a sin not to. I would've told the waiter but he was busy chatting it up with somepeople at another table. Let's talk about the food. YUMMY! Albeit a bit spicier than I prefer, but man, it was tasty! Forappetizer, we got the fried dumpling and that was good. I ordered the DanDan Noodles. It was simply prepared - just noodlestopped with something I didn't recognize and smothered in that peanut-y, spicy sauce. My husband ordered the Szechuan VeggieFried Rice and that was intensely hot, but he likes it spicy so he loved it. Overall, minus the beer not being cold, it was agood dinner. We will definitely be back! There are tons of other stuff on the menu I'd like to try. Read more

Walked in for lunch on Monday afternoon around 2:30 and we were seated right away. The place was packed to 60% capacity and... still had some indoor seating available while the indoor area was fairly empty. Service felt a little slow this particular day,and the 2 beers that I picked from their list weren't available. While the staff was apologetic, the recommended replacementwasn't really great (no wonder they still had some in stock)! For food, we ordered a couple of things which included CrablessRangoon ($11.95), Vegetable Wonton in Chili Oil ($9.95), Fried Vegetable Dumplings ($8.95), Dan Dan Noodles ($12.95), andPeppercorn Brussel Sprouts ($10.95). What felt like too much food, was easily consumed by the 2 of us, and we are lighteaters. Food was ok, nothing exceptional about it, but good enough to try it again one more time! Service improved towards theend of our stay, and overall, we had a pretty good experience. We will return again. Read more

We tried coming here once before but the wait was too long. We were lucky this time to get there when it was fairly empty & it... did not disappoint. I'm not vegan or vegetarian, but I like to try the options when they're available. We got the spicy wontonswhich were delicious. I wouldn't say they were too spicy, but just perfect. We also got the general tso's cauliflower and it wasmy favorite! The sauce on top was amazing and I like that they drizzle it throughout the portion (there's a lot) so that everypiece has some on it. We also got the dan dan noodles which were good. My boyfriend loved them, but I personally didn't love thetexture of them. The sauce was kind of gritty but the taste was good. I think the prices were great for the portion sizes andthe fact that it's vegan food in the city. Overall, I loved it & look forward to going back! Read more

This restaurant is a Szechuan vegan restaurant. I went into this restaurant with high expectations, but I was let down overall.... This restaurant is mediocre at best. So when we first went into the restaurant, it was packed to the brim, and the onlyavailable seats were outdoors. No problem. We ordered the Dan Dan Noodles, Vegetable Chili Oil Wontons, and the Dry Pepper Stylemixed vegetable+tofu. I thought the prices were a bit expensive compared to what I usually ordered for the same items in lowerManhattan. The Dan Dan Noodles were good, but I would have liked a bit more flavor within the noodles. Also, my accompanimentand I were highly disappointed with the Vegetable Chili Oil wontons, it did not have much filling inside, my favorite part ofthat dish was the chili oil honestly, I used the chili oil in that dish to mix in with the Dan Dan noodles to add more flavor :)I think I enjoyed the Dry pepper tofu/veggie dish the most. The fried tofu definitely feels like a crispy chicken when you firstbite into it, but just with a hollow inside. I am not vegan at all, but I still thoroughly enjoyed the food fairly. I have afair spice tolerance, and the food was not spicy at all in my opinion, so don't worry about it if you can't handle spice thatwell! Read more
