Came in for breakfast, and honestly there is not much I... can say about the experience that was good or bad, it was basically adequate. The food was serviceable, and the portions seemedmodest, and on the whole the quality was about the same as your average Denny's. Great place if you want a classic diner experience in New York. Service was great and food came very fast - even the steak that... I ordered, which was delicious! Prices were reasonable too and there was plenty of seating. Had a pleasant chat with a fellowout-of-towner in the opposite booth who said he enjoyed his food too and had been to this place several times during his stay.I?d just gotten off a train from Philly which is another advantage of this diner - it?s close to Moynihan Train Hall whosedining options are still kinda limited. I love skylight diner. Its a really diner! The prices are low, and the food is GREAT. The kitchen bangs out orders super fast. I... usually sit down at the counter for a quick bite, but if I have time I sit in a booth to enjoy a cup of coffee or two. Read more
